Operations Supervisor, SG

The Role: The Operations, Supervisor, will lead the external operations team to deliver a first-class service to our international group.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Planning and managing miscellaneous and budgeted projects, specifically;
*Budget management responsibility;
*Resource planning;
*Logistics planning; and
*Onsite planning.
· Act as a point of escalation for client queries or concerns;
· Develop close working relationships with other team members to ensure a seamless service is delivered to our clients;
· Ensure our culture of Health & Safety is followed whilst on-site;
· Support the continued development and efficiency of the operations team, understanding and maximising capacity where possible;
· Manage the recruitment and training of all new operations team members;
· Ensure operations teams have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how they contribute to these;
· Drive a one-team, results orientated culture, motivating employees to reach a common goal
· Supervise, monitor and evaluate staff performance
· Proper estimation of costs to be provided to the sales team for client pricing
· Ensure constant technical support is provided to the sales team, once the sales order is completed for Events, Retail, Rental Plus, Commercial Sale and Expo
· Always keep a look out for additional business opportunities and report the prospects to the Sales Executive - Events and Expo
· Securing best cost profits onsite
· Any new operational opportunities for new service line to be reported to the Director – Asia Pacific
Essential Skills & Experience:

• Significant project management experience within a distribution or logistics environment;
• Significant experience of building teams of flexible labour;
• Demonstrable experience of managing large scale projects within the events and exhibitions sectors, across an international environment;
• Evidence of establishing and maintaining excellent business relationships with key external and internal parties;
• Demonstrable experience of working to tight KPIs;
• Excellent Leadership skills, including the development and upskilling of team members;
• Ability to manage budgets and costs;
• Evidence of a solutions orientated approach;
• Willing to work towards appropriate Health & Safety qualification;
• Extensive travel will be required.
• Experience with supply and installation of catering equipment and refrigeration
Desirable
• First-hand knowledge of Lowe’s key events & exhibitions, including location knowledge.
• Experience in working for events and exhibitions from regions given our nature of operations.
• Experience with delivery of the Singapore GP event.
• Extensive experience in refrigeration, catering, and cold room equipment installation.
