JOB SUMMARY:

Budweiser Stage is seeking an Event Staff Supervisor. The Event Staff Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the Ushers & Ticket Takers within the venue. Duties may also include additional functions under the direction of the Event Staff Manager and/or Operations Manager. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Direct and supervise Ushers/Ticket Takers and other employees performing similar services as directed by the Event Staff Manager or Operations Manager. Provide customer services by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• On an ongoing basis lead and train staff to include assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.
• Coordinate team rest periods in accordance with provincial and municipal law and help to find coverage.
• Assist management to ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures to include all health safety regulations.
• Oversee productivity and work assignments of the Ushers and Ticket Takers and communicate with management (or designated Manager) any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.

Job Summary

The Supervisor, Commerce Media reports into the Director, Commerce Media and is responsible for the successful delivery of client’s Retail Planning & Optimization as part of the account team, with a direct responsibility for successful management of retail campaign deliverables.

What You’ll Do

40% Client Engagement Delivery Management

• Collaborate with the Director, Media Investment Science to identify client needs, define deliverables and develop a delivery plan to ensure the retail program is a success
• Responsible for on time, on-budget delivery of the retail program at the expected quality of deliverables, with the support of the Specialist, eCommerce Media Science for project management and creation of deliverables
• Coordinate and collaborate with other teams as needed at Night Market, Horizon, the client’s partners and vendors and the client to deliver the retail campaign/program
• Communicate any campaign/retailer needs and status with team and client (e.g., status reports, escalations) and participate in the presentation of deliverables to the client for review and approval

• Help with any administrative tasks related to the account, e.g., inputs to contracting, billing

30% - Solution Development and Planning

• Ability to create and manage dedicated pivots to report dedicated data for the client; inclusive of creating Pivot Charts to detect trends, insights and learnings that may improve future retail campaigns.
• Develop and communicate recommendations for the client (in Excel, PowerPoint or Word)
• Develop roadmap for execution of solutions over a period of time, based on identified requirements
• Lead meetings as needed with client teams, partners, and other vendors to gather information and/or collaborate on defining and planning solutions

30% - Execution Support/Management

• Use necessary platforms, such as Prisma and Media Tools, to support delivery of the solutions above with support of the Specialist, ecommerce Media Science, learning new platforms or platform capabilities where needed
• Lead the effective delivery of any creative work needed for the digital channels in scope, in collaboration with the creative team, account team, vendors and client
• Own analytics and reporting to measure the impact of delivered solutions over time and to identify opportunities for further improvements and optimization
• Engage with the Retailers during the campaign to ensure optimizations are being addressed and implemented
• Help identify, troubleshoot, or escalate as needed any issues that emerge during the campaign to ensure effective delivery

Preferred Skills & Experience
 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g. business, marketing, advertising, digital marketing
• 3 to 5 years of experience with shopper marketing and retail ecommerce with an emphasis on performance-driven programs, including client relationship and/or account management experience
• Experience with Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) Paid Search/Sponsored Product Listings and Amazon Media Group (AMG) services
• Experience with fundamental retail ecommerce principles and willingness and drive to increase skills and expertise in this function both through hands-on learning as well as additional training
• An analytical mindset, detail oriented and comfortable with business analysis processes and frameworks and competent in working with data to uncover insights and inform and support recommendations, including competency in working with Excel and other data tools like comScore and Google Analytics
• Previous Experience working with shopper marketing and retail ecommerce is highly desired
• A team player with solid communication, collaboration and relationship management skills who is able to work with people across different teams and functions

THE JOB

The Event Staff Supervisor is a working supervisor who is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the Event Staff within the venue. Duties may also include management functions.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service-related situations 

• Follow up with Security and Event Staff teams to ensure that service standards are met 
• Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy

• Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members

• Communicate to M.O.D. any issues that guests or team members may have

What You’ll Do 

Team Management and Delegation – 25%

• Oversee junior team members, and manage expectations with team leadership in the creation of media specific documents such as media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions 
• Manage and develop junior team member(s), contributing to growth plans and career goals
• Manage performance reviews: sharing strengths and weaknesses, providing clear next steps for growth, and suggest training opportunities.
• Have foresight and understanding of projects to maintain and adjust timing of deliverables for team at large, communicating changes to managers and leadership 
• Provide ongoing education and training on best practices, media principles, and industry at large to junior team
• Participate in interview process for junior team members’ roles 
• Guide team in ensuring team members have challenging, level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skills, contributing to overall team success

Digital Media Strategy – 20%

• Develop and articulate media strategies as it pertains to digital planning and buying, setting the team up for success in building tactical plans
• Lead team alongside Associate Director and Director in creation of strategy/tactical recommendation materials for client presentations
• Incorporate data from Horizon Media’s suite of planning, evaluation and buying tools for application/analysis into competitive landscape, target digital consumption support, plan development and reporting 
• Lead brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration set development with the intention of bringing great ideas to life 
• Take lead in creation and presentation of media specific documents such as media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions
• Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications within digital environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy and client goals

Relationship Management – 20%

• Foster strong, mutually beneficial relationships, building trust and accountability with Horizon Media departments to facilitate problem solving, i.e. Business Solutions, Traffic, Ops, as well as clients and vendors
• Apply knowledge of current/previous clients’ specific business and industry to enhance and further relationships 
• Act as key resource and trusted partner for clients (i.e., campaign updates, creative needs, POVs on industry changes)

Media Negotiating & Buying – 15%

• Manage RFP creation and review of partners/site responses, act of point of escalation for partner negotiations
• Provide final sign off on insertion orders within internal systems tool and accuracy of plan details
• Act as a resource for team as they work through the planning process
• Spearhead collaboration with other Horizon Media teams (Business Solutions, Investment, etc.) towards 360 partnerships, incorporating relevant extensions 
• Initiate and guide team collaboration with key partners during planning process, including Partners, Creative Agencies and biddable activation teams (e.g. Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic)

Campaign Management & Execution – 10%

• Ensure proper protocol for trafficking and site tagging is followed by junior team members
• Provide final sign off on specs documents and confirm all materials are received from creative agency 
• Ensure that all execution and campaign post launch information are compiled in a timely fashion
• Act as resource for junior team members on mid-campaign reconciliation, billing, pacing, campaign validation and brand safety

Reporting & Analysis – 10%

• Act as primary resource for junior team members as they work through optimization strategies, proactively communicating challenges and opportunities across display, mobile, social and video 
• Encouraging junior team members to draw thoughtful, data-based conclusions that illustrates the ‘why’ behind performance, and maps back to digital strategy

Guest Services Supervisors are an important part of the Talladega Experience. Members work at Admission Gates, Tunnels, or the Infield Crossover Gate depending on qualifications and interest. • Responsible for organizing staff and placing staff in formation for gate opening.

• Responsible for knowing what each gate position does and the roll they play so they can lead accordingly.

• Be able to make decisions on the fly during hectic and high pressure situations.

• Properly scanning each Guests ticket for valid access into the facility.

• Properly checking each Guests credential for valid access into the facility.
