This position is responsible for investigating and documenting incidents for criminal prosecution and/or referral to management, and the security of employees, patrons, bus and rail systems, transit centers, Park-n-Rides, and special events. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
ESSENTIAL:

The RTD Transit Police Department operates a complex security model dedicated to providing a safe and secure transit system for our riders, employees, and the community.  In this position, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the safety and security of RTD and its patrons by:

• Enforcing Colorado State law through observation and patrol
• Performing investigations relating to theft, violence in the workplace, crimes on RTD property, and crimes against patrons and employees
• Processing crime scenes and performing evidence collection and analysis
• Performing comprehensive facility and counterterrorism threat and vulnerability analyses of the organization’s properties and special events

Working with Transit Police provides a unique chance to support a diverse community through assignments to mobile patrol and foot patrols of properties, trains, buses, and special events. The transit police jurisdiction encompasses nearly 2,400 square miles, operating in eight counties and 40 cities across the Denver Metro region.

While working with Transit Police, you will also have specific opportunities to support you fellow RTD employees through:

Police Officer Trainees:

The CRO is responsible for ensuring that the organization meets it fiduciary, legal, and duty of care requirements; setting enterprise-wide standards for compliance, duty of care, and risk management; and developing the systems, processes, and capacities to provide effective support for the mission.  The CRO also serves as a key strategic advisor and counsel for the CEO, Global Leadership Team (GLT), and the IJM Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the structures, frameworks, and processes that equip the GLT and GLT Councils to identify enterprise-wide risks (internal and external) and make informed decisions to manage/mitigate those risks.

• Develop, articulate, and implement the governing standards on IJMs approach to risk (i.e., IJMs risk tolerance/appetite) and ensure that it is reflected in IJMs policies, operations, and activities.

• Lead the development, management, and training on IJMs crisis response framework; serve as the executive leader for enterprise crisis response.

• Regularly report to the Board and GLT on the portfolio of enterprise risks to the mission.

• Manage the standards and processes for negotiating, securing, and administering IJMs portfolio of business insurance policies.

Security:

Qualifications:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience holding responsibility for legal affairs/compliance in a corporate or non-profit setting, providing executive-level legal counsel in an in-house or law firm setting, and leading and managing teams of legal professionals;

• Experience working directly with and advising executive-level leadership and Boards of Directors;

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in risk management, corporate governance, safety/security, and/or policy development/management strongly preferred;

• Experience working/providing counsel in a multi-national/global context, across multiple jurisdictions, and in cross-cultural settings strongly preferred;

Experience: Individual must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in human intelligence (HUMINT) collection and/or collection management of high-impact and complex counterintelligence (CI) and/or foreign intelligence (FI) reporting. This position is responsible for investigating and documenting incidents for criminal prosecution and/or referral to management, and the security of employees, patrons, bus and rail systems, transit centers, Park-n-Rides, and special events. This is a safety sensitive position subject to the rules and regulations of the RTD Drug and Alcohol Policy and is an armed sworn position under CRS 16-2.5-146.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL:

The RTD Transit Police Department operates a complex security model dedicated to providing a safe and secure transit system for our riders, employees, and the community.  In this position, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the safety and security of RTD and its patrons by:

• Enforcing Colorado State law through observation and patrol
• Performing investigations relating to theft, violence in the workplace, crimes on RTD property, and crimes against patrons and employees
• Processing crime scenes and performing evidence collection and analysis
• Performing comprehensive facility and counterterrorism threat and vulnerability analyses of the organization’s properties and special events
• Providing comprehensive written reports, procedures and implementation plans to protect employees, patrons, facilities, and equipment
• Completing citations and arrests as needed
• Other duties as required

Working with Transit Police provides a unique chance to support a diverse community through assignments to mobile patrol and foot patrols of properties, trains, buses, and special events. The transit police jurisdiction encompasses nearly 2,400 square miles, operating in eight counties and 40 cities across the Denver Metro region.

While working with Transit Police, you will also have specific opportunities to support you fellow RTD employees through:

• Conducting security-related training programs for employees, contractors and other transportation workers especially in the area of counter-terrorism activities
• Reviewing incident reports involving employees, investigating and resolving incidents, and preparing written responses

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age at time of hire
• Proficient in all aspects of the investigations process
• Familiarity with the criminal justice system; including federal, state, and local law enforcement regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
• Ability to use sound judgment
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including afternoon and overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License
• Must possess a valid Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training certification or Colorado Provisional POST Certified - https://post.colorado.gov/certification/certification-types/provisional-certification
• Must possess a minimum of two years patrol duty experience - consisting of street related duty - within the last three years while employed full time by state, county, municipal or sheriff’s department (Academy training time or those employed by a correctional facility, federal, district attorney’s office or military police agency is not applicable experience)
• Retired officers or officers separated from an agency due to resignation or layoffs must apply within one year of separation and must have been in good standing at the time or separation of the agency

PREFERRED:

• An associate degree in business, public administration, management, criminal justice or related field is preferred

Job Description Summary
The Associate Consultant Development Program at Charles River Development (CRD) is focused on hiring, training and retaining new Associate Consultants. Operating under our Implementation umbrella out of our Burlington, MA 
headquarters, Associates at CRD are responsible for fulfilling the job responsibilities for each assigned rotation (2 in total) for an approximate 12 month period. They will generally work with the Technical Support and Product 
Management teams. Associates will complete product, technical and company training and will be assigned a direct mentor for the term of their rotational program. The program is designed to introduce early career colleagues to 
different client services business problems and to help prepare them for a full time role as an Implementation Consultant (IC) or Technical Implementation Consultant (TIC). Associates will end up in a full time consulting position 
as a IC or TIC upon completion of the rotational development program.

What you will be responsible for:
As Associate Consultant Rotational Program, Charles River Development, Senior Associate you will:
• Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, email or in-person (remotely or on-site).
• Under the Implementation Manager's direct supervision, deliver quality, timely and effective results on requirements 
gathering, documentation, workflow analysis and design, configuration, test case development, unit testing and 
prototyping.
• Diagnose software issues and recommend the appropriate solution. Engage as a billable team member on 2-3 fullcycle functional or technical implementation projects by participating in client meetings on site; attending internal 
meetings, end-user prototyping and training; and assisting with other assigned tasks.
• Engage as a team member by "shadowing" assigned staff on 1-2 implementation or upgrade projects.
• Analyze problems, answer questions and provide training related to the software.
• Follow a standard set of procedures when responding to customer requests or inquiries.
• Conduct research on questions and issues using available information resources and other product specialists.
• Keep a detailed log of all customer interactions and prepare resolution reports for issues reported by the customer.
• Develop in depth knowledge of the following modules in the application: Blotter, Manager Workbench, Compliance 
and Post Trade.
• Develop technical skills to conduct data mapping, upgrades and basic interface configuration.
• Complete other related tasks as assigned.
