About the Role

As a Lead, you will oversee and mentor employees in various Logistics Center functions, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and Logistics Work Order slotting. • Act as SAP inventory processes subject matter expert; coordinate off-cycle inventory adjustments, as needed; ensure Delivery Holds (DH) are appropriately executed; coordination of localized Inventory Control aspects (ex. scrap, send for rework) of Business Integration Decisions and Activities (BIDAs) and facilitate scrap activities for local team to execute when appropriate.
• Review, approve, and escalate as necessary inventory adjustment requests and manage demand and resource availability.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk maintains accurate inventory of detail and finished good parts. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate and organized inventory
• Responsible for pulling of all detail and finished goods parts per Bill of Materials
• Responsible for stocking and storing of all details and hardware inventories
• Receive all returned parts by completing general receiving report
• Modifies inventory in computerized inventory system to reflect daily transactions and current inventory levels
• Assist other stores personnel in the monthly inventory and the weekly cycle counts.
• Conduct all business transactions and communications in a professional manner congruent to company policy
• Practice safe procedures at all times when using material handling equipment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES

• High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred.  Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.

• 1-2 years of related experience desired

• Detail oriented with the ability to use elementary measuring tools i.e. micrometer calipers and electronic calipers

• Must have the ability to read and understand tolerances on manufacturing drawings.

• Some knowledge of MRP principles.

• Ability to read and understand work orders

• Experience using computers

• Demonstrated decision-making ability utilizing good judgment in determining the appropriate guideline, procedure, and application to utilize in solving problems

• Thorough understanding of process flows, lead times and lean principles in a manufacturing environment.

1st Shift - Sunday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm

Compile and maintain records of physical and virtual product inventories via daily activities of cycle counting, claims management and accounts administration within the facility. Manage data concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products for/from the facility. Order shipping materials supplies and equipment to maintain inventory throughout the facility.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Keep inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records
• Put together data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports
• Determine stock supply and need for replenishment
• Look into damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues
• Find product to ensure correct product ID, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories
• Look at stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, product lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of shipping order
• Review files to find unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate warehouse material handling equipment to move product while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics

Position Summary:                    

Primary responsibilities are to ensure security and accuracy of inventory control by overseeing movement to and from the stockroom and all inventory transactions. Accountable for accurate, detailed, current inventory for raw material, WIP and finished goods.
