About the Role
- We have an immediate requirement for a qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Contracts Executive who will be involved in all aspects of Quantity Surveying consulting, including but not limited to feasibility studies, cost plans and estimates, preparation of schedules/bills of quantities, procurement and post contract administration.
Role Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing and delivering quantity surveying services from inception to completion on construction projects, in a client facing as well as technical role.
- Ability to use own initiative and to work both independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability and desire to mentor others - manage the day to day operations of staff under your direct supervision.
- Professional presentation, attention to detail and flexibility - allocation of team resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Ability and desire to progress - we are looking for a candidate to be part of this dynamic team where we anticipate leadership opportunities await the successful candidate.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree / Post-Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 Year(s) of working experience in roles directly related to the provision of quantity surveying services in professional consulting QS firm(s) i.e. not contractor/developer firms.
- Must be a registered member (at least PVQS/Graduate level or equivalent) of professional Quantity Surveying bodies such as BQSM, RISM, AIQS, SISV or equivalent.

HISTORY
The genesis of the practice occurred more than 72 years ago when two like-minded chartered quantity surveyors resolved to collaborate to provide cost management consultancy services in the United Kingdom and Australia.
The practice remains totally independent and is wholly owned by the directors of WT who adopted this brand name in the early eighties to sustain one of the goals set by the practice’s forefathers.
From its humble beginnings the practice has developed into a business which now provides a range of diversified consultancy services to the building and infrastructure industries worldwide, covering both publically and privately funded projects.
