Communicates the provider's written instructions for care to the patient, or caregiver, by transmission of specifically defined information. Will participate in care for patients, across the lifespan, in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, treatment, and follow-up as patients move in and out of care settings. Performs a variety of duties under the direct supervision of a person licensed to practice medicine. A sampling of the specialized clinical duties performed includes, but is not limited to, obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, observing and reporting patient's signs or symptoms, and performing point of care testing.

Qualifications

LPN:

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

MA:

Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA).

[What the role is]
NEA’s Inspectorate Department administers the Environmental Protection and Management Act (EPMA) and its Regulations to manage and control air, water and noise pollution, as well as hazardous substances and toxic industrial waste at industrial and trade premises.

[What you will be working on]

You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that may require you to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. You will work with the industries in the western part of Singapore to ensure the EPMA and its Regulations are complied with, as well as be part of a team to review and enhance NEA’s concept of operations for responding to environmental pollution incidents. Your key responsibilities will include the following:

• Manage and co-ordinate a team to inspect trade and industrial premises to ensure compliance with pollution control, hazardous substances, and toxic industrial waste requirements.

• Respond to environmental pollution incidents during and after office hours.

• Attend to feedback from public pertaining to pollution matters.

• Conduct technical assessments and evaluate environmental requirements for new industrial and trade premises.

• Develop and review the concept of operations for responding to environmental pollution incidents.

• Support the procurement and equipping plan for laboratory and relevant analytical equipment.
