Compensation Range
Hourly: $29.30 - $34.60 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to plan and manage events of various sizes and purposes with extreme attention to details and ensure every customer interaction reflects well on the Commerce brand.
Essential Functions
Organize and coordinate VIP client events at various locations such as: Plaza Art Fair, American Royal Barbeque, Box Gallery openings, etc. As well as internal events for Directors and Officers that may happen on and off site.
Interface with vendors and internal customers to facilitate meetings and events
Coordinate catering, room set up, seating and seating assignments, event details, logistic information, audio visual, parking, decorations, and hosts for all events both internal and external.
Create, edit, and organize all invitations and automated reservations and responses for internal and external events. Work with our internal sales team to organize invitation lists on Insight 360 CRM.
Manager third party relationships with food service providers and kitchen personnel
Provide direction and coordination of staff working in the Executive Dining Room
Compile complex information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials
Manage and maintain accounts and internal databases containing confidential information and analyze complex information requests
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Ability to compose and prepare routine, complex, and highly confidential correspondence
Advanced technology skills of standard office management equipment, systems, and procedures
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
