Provide owner’s agent support to Federal Project Directors (FPDs) executing design and construction of capital line-item and other construction projects at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas. The successful candidate has demonstrated construction inspection and quality assurance experience during design, construction, fabrication, and installation of equipment. QUALIFICATIONS:

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Position requires proficiency in using computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office). Also requires thorough knowledge of standard design and construction practices within field(s) of expertise, as well as applicable codes and regulations. Must be proficient in reading plans and specifications and able to use communication technology and automation to achieve the highest level of productivity. Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, on technical and non-technical subjects.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Holds and can maintain a Department of Energy “Q” clearance. An active Top Secret clearance will also be accepted.

LOCATION SPECIFICS: Local to Amarillo, Texas is preferred.  If not local, must be willing to travel to Amarillo every two weeks for a two-week rotation on-site.
