About the role



Multiple positions are available for Experienced Chef De Partie to join our team. As the Chef De Partie, you will be an integral part of our business and work in the small kitchen team in day to day operation. The primary purpose of this role is to support in the daily trade of the high volume cooking by cooking and delivering Modern Australia Meals.


Job Responsibilities


Prepare and produce a wide variety of foods and plan seasonal menus.

Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsible for orders and maintaining good stock and waste control.

Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of foods are of the highest quality at all times.

Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.

Ensure that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions

Ensure the adequacy of supplies at cooking stations

Assist in the training of junior and apprentice chefs

Assist in any menu tasting preparations

Ensure that all wastage is kept under strict control

Ensure the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation, starting with the ingredients and ending with the finished dish which leaves the kitchen door;

Senior pastry chef
Location: Hampshire , S042
Salary: £38,250 - £39,250 Including Tips ( open to reasonable negotiations for experience )
Hours :48 Hours per week

We are currently recruiting for one of our star clients who currently operate one of the best restaurants / pubs in the area . As a Senior Pastry chef you would need to be prepared to work mostly on your own with the small amount of assistance from other chefs. High level of knowledge and skill within the same role would be highly preferred however someone with a lot of experience who is after to reach the next in their progression level may still be considered.

What's my day to day duties ?
Running of your own department with occasional support from other chefs
To produce high quality Desserts and bread for the restaurant , afternoon teas and banquets .
Follow instructions from the Head chef to what dishes need to be created and maintain high quality and consistency for your guest
Clear communication to help delegate tasks and duties throughout the kitchen making sure if any staff needs any additional training is provided.
Always make sure Mise en Place meets the high standards from the head chef

Great background within cookery , training and demonstrating a high level of pastry knowledge and skills
