Position: Operations Manager
Job Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the art center, ensuring its smooth and efficient functioning. This role involves managing staff, facilities, events, and logistics, and also includes coordinating the successful opening of new centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize operational plans, policies, and procedures to enhance the center's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead the planning and execution of the new center opening, including facilities setup, recruitment, training, inventory, marketing, and coordination with various teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful launch, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of the art center's facilities, including classrooms, studios, equipment, and common areas.
- Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and renovations as needed.
- Ensure optimal stock levels, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage staff across various departments, including front desk, maintenance, events, and facilities management.
- Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and address employee concerns.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized environment for students and visitors.
- Oversee customer interactions, handle inquiries, and address feedback to enhance the overall experience.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, education, and finance, to align strategies and achieve overall business goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations management
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend special events as needed.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for the arts are advantageous.
Other Information:
Working day: 5/6 days work week, including weekends
Working Location: Report to HQ at Jb Setia Tropika but needed to travel to various branches
