About the Opportunity
Kelly Tillage is looking to appoint an experienced Product Designer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for design, development and support of the company’s products.
Specifically, your role will involve;
- Design of components and sub-assemblies using Solidworks and other means as appropriate to ensure effective communication with Production personnel and third-party suppliers
- Development of Engineering drawings to support Production and third-party suppliers
- Use of EPDM to control engineering design activity
- Development and maintenance of Bills of Materials for products
- Liaising with external suppliers for provision of components, materials and services to support product development activity
- Liaising with the Procurement and Operations for quotation and delivery of Special Build projects
- Management of Engineering Change and working with appropriate stakeholders to ensure that appropriate outcomes are achieved
- Provision of Technical Support to external customers, including telephone support, and in-field support where required
- Development and maintenance of product support documentation, including Assembly Manuals, Technical Bulletins and Assembly Updates to ensure that all documentation is relevant and current
- On occasion, validating designs by assisting the production team with the physical assembly of a machine
The role will require regular travel between the Adelaide and Booleroo Centre offices.

About You
A proven performer, you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications;
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry
- Experience in the use of software applications, particularly CAD and Inventory systems
- Experience in the collection, analysis and presentation of accurate and useful statistical data
- Experience in quality management systems and associated documentation required
- Knowledge of production processes
- Knowledge of research and development techniques
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Continuous Quality Improvement
- Knowledge of Occupational Health Safety & Welfare

The role is full time and salary will be offered commensurate with the successful candidate's experience and skill level.
