Scope of assignment

Under our Accountant’s observation and support:

• Follow company procedures to bookkeeping and process payments.
• Support Accounting team in preparing accounting books, arranging, filing, and archiving accounting documents.
• Study and involve in preparing some Accounting and tax reports following guidance from the supervisor.
• Support Accounting team in working with auditors and tax consultants, preparing data and documents for statutory audit, tax review and/or tax inspection (if any).
• Assist in implementation of actions for internal audits and company’s projects/ assignments if any.
• Other ad-hoc assignments required by the supervisor

Accounting Intern Responsibilities:

· Shadowing members of the Finance department as they perform their duties and eventually learn to be independently carry out the duties

· Processing vendors’ invoices and payments

· Working with Accounting software (Navision) and Business intelligence reporting software

· Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements and submission to management for reviews

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting candidates for our Accounting College Internship program located at our Live Oak Administrative Service Center.  The intern selected for this position will work with the Accounting Operations, Financial Reporting, and Financial Analyst teams to prepare and post journal entries according to GAAP, reconcile general ledger accounts, perform variance analysis, tie out financial statements, and assist in the preparation and organization of documentation for the annual financial statement audit.
