Inventory Management

• Coordinate closely with logistics (DC) for incoming shipment tracking.
• Ensure inventory levels is within the contractual inventory holding target.
• Prompt review & action on the obsolesces to minimize the non-working inventory.
• Work closely with DC to monitor the excess storage charges and informed the affected Clients.
• Provide timely and proper instruction to Material Management team for inventory transfer, write off, block action.

Client Management

• Base on business contract, identify key service areas and KPIs.
• Translate into monthly KPI report for Operation Meetings.
• Align the KPI definition and targets with cross-functional team, namely CCC, DC, SCM, and Finance.
• Responsible to consolidate and understand the KPI matrix, and reason for failure to meet the KPI, if any.
• Conduct monthly operations review, or quarterly business review with key clients (including Operation stats, open issues, progress, etc.).
• Liaises with Clients on their requirements & assist to resolve daily problems encountered.
• Maintain high frequency of engagement with Clients to build effective and strong working relationships.
• Work with other cross-functional departments to ensure clients’ operational requirements are met.

Your role and goals

The positions are located at the department of Information and Service Management and the postdoctoral researchers will work in tight co-operation with the faculty. The fields of the positions are, Information Systems Science, Management Science, or Supply Chain Managements/Logistics according to the three disciplinary areas of the department. We are looking for applicants who are completing, or have completed within the past four years, their doctoral studies in a relevant field of study (e.g., supply chain management, logistics, information systems science or management science). Manage account payable and/or receivable duties. Handle billing and invoices, do bank reconciliation, account payable/account receivable closing, prepare statement of account, prepare payment vouchers, staff claims and petty cash, etc. Correspond with vendors and customers with phone calls and emails.

Job Descriptions:

Accounts

• Support duties related to accounts receivable functions
• Taking customers orders and inputing sales orders and invoices into the system
• Keep track of outstanding invoice & follow up for payment
• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
• Assist in month-end closing bank recon & expenses reports
• Maintaining client relations.
• Tracking sales data to ensure the company meets sales quotas.
• Creating and presenting sales performance reports.
• Any ad-hoc duties will be assigned as needed.

Customer Service

• Attend to customers who call-in with enquires and request for quotations, or directing them to the appropriate sales person
• Assist sales persons to prepare quotations for customers
• Provide delivery status or updates of customers’ orders, coordinate changes if necessary
• Update changes in customers’ information
• Update inventory records, customers’ sales records and price change information
• Coordinate with store for collection and delivery of goods
• Perform any other Ad Hoc projects and assignments as and when required

Job Requirements:

• Singaporeans and PR Only.
• Proficiency in Tamil is an advantage.

Other Information’s:

• Salary: $2,000 - $2,500 per month
• 5.5 days’ work week (alternate Saturdays)
• Able to work with minimum supervision
