What you’ll achieve

As a Specialist Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring a great customer experience with existing and potential customers.

You will:

• Develop an understanding of customers’ business and solution requirements
• Gain share of wallet/spend across Dell’s portfolio of technology solutions: server, storage, networking, software, security and managed services
• Manage territory/accounts, including account planning, sales forecasting, engaging cross-functional resources and working with the virtual teams to ensure alignment across the organizations
• Regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties
• Provide sales leadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities

• 10-15 years of experience selling technology solutions where you were recognized as a top performer

• Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills and ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CIO/CXO leadership and next two levels down

The Backup Delivery Specialist provides operational support and guidance to customers to support the management and use of DELL EMC Backup solutions. Responsible for performing a wide variety of daily storage or Backup management tasks as well as providing recommendations for effective and efficient storage system use. Capable of working with minimal supervision. Considered an expert in the implementation and use of DELL EMC Backup solutions. You will:

Performs necessary storage and backup infrastructure maintenance and necessary data migration, as required. Provides assistance to DELL EMC technical teams in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation.

• Performs complex and/or extended-stay software implementations per the specifications in the Statement of Work, Scope document, Architecture Design Document or Project Manager direction.

• Successfully manages relations with Customers utilizing negotiation and influencing skills to acquire the internal and external resources necessary for optimal results. May occasionally be called upon to act as a backup to the Project Manager or to provide team technical leadership on specific implementations.
