Overall Purpose of the Role:
The Maintenance Technician role plays a crucial part in contributing to the upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment, and the fleet, with a strong focus on Health & Safety (H&S), across a designated area.    Contractor Liaison: Collaborate with external contractors, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and security protocols, including the asbestos register.

   First Aid and Fire Warden: Complete relevant training to become a trained first aider and fire warden.
6. 
   Helpdesk Calls: Record Helpdesk calls on CAFM and the local database, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
7. 
   Operational Support: Undertake site-specific tasks as required, such as assisting with deliveries, snow clearance, and gritting during adverse weather conditions.
8. 
   Office Changes: Assist in minor office changes/moves and support the area with meeting rooms and training facilities. Act as a point of contact for removal companies during planned projects.
9. 
   Stock Management: Collaborate with the Procurement department to maintain essential supplies across all sites.
10. 
    Repairs and Maintenance: Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
11. 
    Contractor Management: Manage contractors' attendance, vetting, and security notifications. Conduct contractor inductions and oversee their activities on-site.
