• Maintain and build close relationships with existing and new customers by spending extra time prospecting, developing, and generating client referrals.
• Assist the Account Manager to deal register, negotiate better prices and draft project quotations, in order to surpass the sales target every quarter.

Our founding team has decades of research and development experiences (across NUS and A-star) in high-end microscope systems. We now focus on confocal, super-resolution microscopy and other related fields, catering to both academia research and high end industrial production needs. Job Descriptions:

1.provide quotations to customers and follow up on sales progress;

2.Update customer information and maintain the CRM system, and use the CRM system to develop and follow up with existing customers;

3. Responsible for communicating with product line suppliers to obtain product information and quotations;

4. Provide feedback and modification opinions to the marketing department on the company’s website and other marketing materials;

5. Prepare and organize and archive product information, contracts, payments, PO, DO, Invoice corresponding to customers and update the procurement system in a timely manner, etc.;

6. Responsible for logistics related matters.

Basic Requirements:

1.The ideal candidate is systematic, meticulous, and CAREFUL! High level of caution is required as you will be dealing with expensive and highly accurate optical instruments.

2.You also have to be highly organised to maintain our documentation and filing. While prior similar experiences are preferred, we are open for fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn to send in your application.

3.To do well in the Simtrum environment, you should be someone with initiative, curious, can-do attitude, flexible and eager to learn.

4.Fluency in both English and spoken Mandarin is a must, as you will be required to liaise with our Chinese counterparts.

Your responsibilities

• Understanding the sales process and excel in generating leads, build relationship and close deals
• Establishing new relationships and maintain current customer base conscientiously by understanding customer needs and promoting a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
• Preparing sales reports and orders forecast reporting using salesforce & other tools
• Identifying new business opportunities & project pipelines
• Developing market intelligence and understanding of market trends

Your background

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical engineering
• Quick learner who has strong negotiation skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way
• Often tasked with giving presentation and attending networking events and trades shows
• Strong background on Electrical industry and experienced in project sales (medium voltage switchgear, transformers, generators and low voltage systems)
• Previous experience in engineering, marketing, and sales

Essential Duties:

• Develop and manage accounts through aggressive prospecting and networking.
• Engage in Sales of office productivity solutions [hardware & software] for Enterprises.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Technically savvy with the ability to relate technical concepts to non-technical and highly technical people.

Required skills: Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. We hire people, not degrees. Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Software and Hardware.
