ECCAZ is a Kuala Lumpur based private investment holding company with business interests in property development and urban transportation. It might be a relatively new business in town but its credentials and heritage are certainly vintage! We have more than 55 years of track record in construction, infrastructure and property development. ECCAZ is born out of the distinguished construction and property developer, Ireka, founded by Datuk Lai Siew Wah in 1967. Ireka was listed on Bursa Malaysia in 1993. Monica and Chee Kian bring with them a wealth of leadership, business and operational expertise and experience to ECCAZ. The word “Eccaz” is derived from the root Latin word of “ecce” which means “behold”. In English, the word “behold” means “to perceive through sight or apprehension”, or “to gaze upon”, usually at something that is remarkable and out-of-the-ordinary. Its meaning transcends that of “look,” “see,” “notice,” or other synonyms that we might compare it to. Eccaz Sdn. Bhd. (ECCAZ) was founded during the depths of a crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and signifies a new beginning of looking towards the future, where humanity triumphs over adversity.
