RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Own and lead event marketing – A dynamic strategy that involves promoting products, services, or brands through carefully planned and executed events. It goes beyond traditional marketing methods by creating immersive experiences, content that engage and captivate audiences.
• Plan, propose, project manage and deliver events/tradeshows/workshops that can help client reach out to and engage with our target audiences.
• Own, lead, plan, project manage, operate and execute to deliver a successful outcome with good customer experience and survey result ( NPS score and Brand survey) for all internal and external customer onsite and online events, webinar, conferences, seminar, tradeshow and Demonstrations in Singapore and regional.
• Lead, curate and produce speech, content and customers engagement activities, presentations, demonstrations together with external vendors and partners, customers and key stakeholders from cross functional teams in Singapore Power Groups.
• Lead and own the customer experience for client's Innovation Hub/lab and InnoSuite and, customer networking, nurturing and retention events and Giftings.
• Responsible for sourcing for and negotiating with vendors and suppliers
• Support for promotional activities for the event
• Preparing and managing project budgets
• Prepare post activity reports and analyze success/failure for future improvements
• Follow up on leads generated from events to achieve marketing ROMI targets
• Responsible in ensuring excellent customer experience at all events. e.g. survey, brand, CE and NPS scores.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Telco or IT industry is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with telecommunications, cyber security, IOT, cloud computing concepts & terminology is a plus
• Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
• Customer focus (sincerely wants to improve customer experience)
• Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
• Independent and great team player with proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast

You will develop project plans, that outline business problem, project objectives, deliverables, and risk assessment. You are also responsible in guiding the teams to execute events within time frame with approved budgets.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Analyze the success of the event and prepare after-event feedback during team meeting.
• Collaborate with management and clients to ensure adherence to project plans and budget.
• Develop recommendations for event plans including risk management plans.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
• Provide guidance, motivation, leadership, and support for the team.
• Lead discussion with clients to determine the scope and objectives of the event.
• Liaise with clients on invoicing and payment matters to ensure timely settlement.
• Liaise with landlord leasing and operations teams, as well as local authority, for various submission and approvals.
• Manage any escalated issues, as well as project plans deviations.
• Present event proposals for approval to management and clients.
• Propose department financial budgets for management approval.
• Recommend suggestions to improve event management and outcomes.
• Recommend venues for events based on client’s needs in consultation with internal stakeholders.
• Resolved all projects issues and deviations to ensure that projects are completed on time.
• Review project deliverables to ensure project plans are followed.
• Work closely with other internal departments, including Marketing, Operations and Finance on projects handover and documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand client objectives and interpret them to develop an integrated event strategy (including good listening and questioning skills)
• Excellent organiser - experience in managing multiple events at any one time with the ability to multi-task and prioritise based upon the event requirements.
• Strong project management - able to juggle multiple tasks smoothly, organized, have good time management and be in control.
• Financial control - experience in producing events budgets and closely tracking events costs.
• Team player - able to take instructions but also work independently and proactively when required.
• Confident with positive attitude, self-motivated and driven.
• Able to work long and irregular hours on site depending on the nature and duration of the events.
• Able to travel frequently between office and event sites to manage events.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Degree in Hospitality & Tourism management or Business Management.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in event planning, project management, or related roles.
