Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with marketing to discuss new product design or modification requirements.
• Collaborate with production and marketing on product feasibility.
• Design and provide drawings and manage a list of drawings of the Company’s products. From here calculate the cost of making the product and materials needed.
• Produce product drawings including technical drawings for production usage.
• Oversee the production of new product samples or prototypes. This includes the packaging needs. From here Assembly Instruction is then prepared.
• Review and test samples for functionality, ease of use, and longevity.
• Liaise with production and QC departments in resolving product issues.
• Ensure all records and documents of all related activities are properly kept and keep the management informed of the various developments and progress.
• Acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to that level of competence to achieve efficiency in working in the R & D department.

Requirements:

• Degree/certification in art and design, engineering, mechanical engineering, or relevant field.
• 2+ years' experience as an R&D officer is preferable.
• In-depth knowledge of furniture design/manufacturing is favorable.
• Proficient with computer design software like AutoCAD.
• Marketing and design experience preferred.
• Ability to translate design concepts into physical objects.

Customer Service

• Smile and greet slot players and customers.

Cashier

• Responsible for the cage operation and cash in the cage/ cash drawer according to SOP.

• Make sure the cash drawer is always locked and not to leave the cage without permission from the Duty Shift in Charge.
• Handle receipts and payments based on Club policies and SOP.
• Count and verify cash amount at beginning of the shift and balance funds at the end of the shift.
• Verify physical loose coins and bundled paper money.
• Handle credit/ debit cards according to SOP.
• Complete cashier gaming forms and reports.

General

• Assist slot players and monitor the players are behaving properly according to house rules.
• Promote gaming programs to the players.
• Ensure all the slot machines are functioning properly and alert to Duty Shift in Charge/ report to technicians if any malfunction and breakdown.
• Attend to minor issues, such as bill jam, etc.
• Wipe and clean slot machines, tables and ensure business premises is always clean and in tidily manner.
• Wear uniform and name tag while on duty in business premises.
• Report any irregularity to the Supervisor/ Duty Shift in Charge.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the customer service function and the logistics/procurement control function of the plant located in Bukit Mertajam.

• Preparing quotations to customers;
• Customers’ orders fulfilment;
• Handling of customers’ VMI (Vendor Management Inventory);
• Order entries into the plant’s ERP system;
• Execution of shipments to customers (packing/palletizing, generation of invoices & delivery orders and other shipping documents);
• Liaison with shipping agents (truck drives, forwarders) for on time-delivery;
• Sourcing of new suppliers, service providers and shipping agents
• Assist in DG shipment;
• Preparation of production materials purchasing plan and issuance of orders to materials suppliers;

• Coordinating and arranging mover to be on time for machine incoming & outgoing in term of uncrating and crating activities.
• To support and coordinate external mover for new workstation / machine received from goods receiving department to production floor.
• As Project coordinator for Contractor Orientation Program (COP), Work Permit (CWA), heavy duty vehicles approval for onsite moving activities, traffic clearance approval, PRS approval for traffic flow, Logistic approval for all TEF moving activities.
• Project coordinator to ensure all supplier under TEF responsibility must strictly follow the Health, Safety & Environment requirement.
• To support and coordinate external mover for new workstation/machine received from goods receiving department to production floor.
• ReUse MAE management activities to coordinate and ensure all MAE are easy to locate and a complete documentation with updating in Ti3 before storing.
• Team member in energy management to support TEF Department for improvement activity to fulfill Penang Plant Energy Management System (EnMS) objective.
• Energy Management System (EnMS) training and refresher for all TEF staffs for the new updates and newcomers.
• Provide support to TEF engineers on the FCM & LOT arrangement and administrative task.
• Provide support to TEF on enhancing the 5S improvement.
• To coordinate and follow up PgP1 scrap requisition and controlling.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
