As part of this, we are now recruiting for a Campus Lead to support the Group Director of Landbased and Merrist Wood Campus, Faculty Leaders and the Head of Student Experience during this period.
As Campus Lead, you will liaise with our Property & Environment teams and Curriculum teams throughout the DfE project, facilitating the organisation of building works to ensure minimal disruption to learning and student experience.
You will provide a visible leadership presence at Merrist Wood campus for staff and students, supporting the Group Director of Landbased and Merrist Wood campus in conducting conduct, behaviour and welfare intervention meetings.
Working closely with the Head of Student Experience, you will also provide support to our safeguarding teams and assist with creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive campus community culture.
This secondment opportunity is offered on a full-time basis until June 2025 and based at Merrist Wood campus.
What do you need to be a successful Campus Lead? You will be a strong role model and champion of the Learning Philosophy with evidence of how you have embedded this with impact.
- Real understanding of how people learn and the ability to translate this into the learning environment
- Proven track record of improving standards to deliver an outstanding student experience
- Skilled in Trauma Informed and Restorative approaches to behaviour and relationships
You will have a creative and solutions focussed approach to problem solving and your excellent interpersonal and influencing skills will support you in gaining the confidence of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
