About The Role

As a manager in supply chain department, you are managing the site’s Procurement and Logistics operations based at one of SingHealth institutions. You will be reporting and working closely with ALPS-SingHealth Cluster Lead to oversee site’s procurement and store operations for non- pharmaceutical items. Leading the team, you will communicate closely with hospital users and vendors to support and improve in the hospital’s daily operations for patient’s care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide implementation support on key supply chain strategic initiatives/programs to meet hospital’s operational needs
• Manage and ensure all contracts are reviewed in a timely manner
• Establish, maintain and implement appropriate policies and procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with hospital and government's regulations
• Point of contact for internal and external audit exercise on all procurement related matters, to implement audit recommendations and ensure compliance to all internal control at all time
• Analyze risk impact, develop and implement management frameworks and tools for evaluation and risk management to support management decision making
• Align Department’s action plan with the Hospital’s key performance indicators and implement plans to attract and retain essential skills, and to motivate staff to bring out the best in them and contribute to organization goals
• Streamline overall procurement system/process/controls to achieve management and operational efficiency
• Conceptualize and implement process improvement and cost containment projects as needed without affecting the quality or services or overall efficiency of the operation
• Manage and oversee the manpower planning, financial budgeting and controlling operating expenses of the department
• Monitor staff performance, provide inputs during performance appraisals and ensure career development and succession planning is in place
• Review and co-ordinate approval / waiver papers before submitting for management approval
• Involve in vendor management and performance review

Requirements

• Min. Degree with 8 to 10 years of relevant procurement and team management experience
• Motivated to learn, resilient and adaptable to changes
• Ability to lead, motivate and influence positively to team members
• Strong communication and presentation skill
• Proficiency in SAP Hana, Ariba and WMS, and having healthcare procurement experience are added advantage

About your new role

The Mental Health Clinical Leads are exciting roles responsible for leading clinicians to deliver high quality services to guests experiencing mental health crisis presenting to Head to Health Geelong.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Mental Health credentialed Allied Health worker, the Clinical Lead will draw on their discipline skills to oversee Clinicians in their engagement with the guests (consumers), the guest’s treatment team, Neami and partner associate staff and family/friends/carers to provide high quality assessments and interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes for guests accessing the Head to Health Geelong service. The Clinical Lead will have oversight of the IAR, clinical assessments, collaborative care plan formulation and execution in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Neami holds a high standard of leadership and expects the Clinical Leads to lead and maintain a positive culture, quality coaching, supervision and to motivate high performance with their reporting managers and their teams. The role also involves oversight of evaluation & reporting; contract, regulatory & organisational compliance; resource management; service development; sector leadership and continuous quality improvement.

• Proven experience at managing clinical teams within the area of mental health service delivery
• Demonstrated skill in the application of recovery-based approaches in a clinical setting
• Experience working as a member of a multi- disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation
• Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and State funded mental health programs and ensuring program implementation in line with funding requirements and contracts
• Demonstrated ability to form and nurture partnerships with government and non-government mental health, emergency and community service providers
