Duties and Responsibilities :
- Supervise, manage and assist the Senior Vice President, Projects on the project
progression and ensure work progress of the ongoing project in accordance to works programme, contract, specification and approved budget
- Coordinate and work with project consultants and appointed contractors/ vendors from project inception to completion as well as project delivery
- Participate in the review of planning and designing stage with the internal review
team and project consultants
- Participate and support project feasibility and viability study, tendering and award of projects
- Ensure SPA drawing & specification consistent with Building Plan approval, Contract Drawings & Construction Drawings.
- Ensure Tender Drawings tally with BP Approval, SPA & Specification during tender documentation and construction stage
- Assist to coordinate inter-departments and consultants for timely inputs with
sufficient pertinent details for tender documentation and construction as well as project delivery
- Assist to monitor the construction drawing programme for timely issuance for
construction
- Assist to coordinate with consultants and contractors / suppliers/ vendors
Coordinate and liaise with authorities for all submission and approval within
timeframe for land related matter, planning approval, building plan and CCC
- Coordinate updates and prepare project claim documentation and handle project archives for systematic and smooth retrieval of project archive information
- To attend to any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the
management under the project portfolio.
Requirements :
- A matured professional with a minimum of 3-5 years in construction,
consultancy and/or property development industry.
- Possess Bachelor Degree in Building/ Civil Engineering. Preferably candidate
with higher education qualification i.e. Master or Member of Professional Body
(IEM/ PAM etc.)
- Experience in Consultancy Firm with site experience will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to handle stress and manage projects according to deadlines.
- Fresh graduate or 1-2 years working experience in similar industry are welcome
to apply.
Specific skills / abilities
- Good working knowledge of consultants and contractor method of working.
- Some working experience in dealing with local authorities.
- Computer skills (MS Words, Excel, Powerpoint, CAD & Project)

Datuk Lai Siew Wah and his family sold their stakes in Ireka in mid-2021 which eventually led to the setting up of ECCAZ by the family, with two of its lead directors, Monica Lai Voon Huey and Chan Chee Kian at its helm. Monica and Chee Kian bring with them a wealth of leadership, business and operational expertise and experience to ECCAZ.
The word “Eccaz” is derived from the root Latin word of “ecce” which means “behold”. In English, the word “behold” means “to perceive through sight or apprehension”, or “to gaze upon”, usually at something that is remarkable and out-of-the-ordinary. Its meaning transcends that of “look,” “see,” “notice,” or other synonyms that we might compare it to.
Eccaz Sdn. Bhd. (ECCAZ) was founded during the depths of a crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and signifies a new beginning of looking towards the future, where humanity triumphs over adversity. Whilst we are excited to announce the formation of ECCAZ, its name is not a call to behold our arrival, but rather an invitation to behold the future, and to gaze upon the remarkable world that we can build together, going forward.
