Production Executive

Job Description

• Automation production line, process control, process improvement and cost saving project.
• Organize, implement and maintain Production Process Flow mainly in automatic production line.
• Develop Work Instruction (WI), Procedure and Process Control related to Production Process.
• Leading, supervising and managing a team of supervisors and production workers.
  Improve continually existing operation for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings.
• Provide manufacturing data; i.e. production control charts, reliability, process capability to improve the process and monitor and with measure progress to target.
• Identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendations; i.e. new process equipment and equipment justification to improve performance.
  Enhance operating efficiency and productivity by effective maintenance of equipment, reducing wastage, eliminating pilferage, and keeping proper documentation and records on production operation, including all consumable inventory management.
• Work closely with technical and quality assurance team to maintain quality of products.
• Ensure food safety by implementing/maintaining Halal, HACCP systems and etc.
  Carry out any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical & Electronic or Food Science/ Food Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in production operation, preferably from food industry.
• High integrity with good analytical and problem solving skills.
  Those with knowledge of Halal, GMP and HACCP will have added advantage.
• Good team player and team leader.
• Willing work at Kulai, Johor.

Responsibility & Authority    : -

• Enhance the control of five (5) Ms (Materials, Manpower, Machine, Method and Measurement).
• Monitor Production Daily activities, performance and achievement for reporting to Production Manager.
• Coordinate with production personnel to ensure smooth running of production as planned.
• Liaise with Logistic & Production department on time delivery or change of schedule if any.
• To ensure that all operators / production personnel to strictly follow the production process, methods, as well as SOP.
• Any problems arise in the production must reported to the Production Manager.
• To sign the request form and formula during the absent of Production Manager.
• To help the Production Manager to oversee the maintenance and ensure that instruction given by Production Manager is followed.
• To ensure all time the house keeping and cleanliness are being followed as well as the Safety and Health Procedures are in Place.
• Ensure the issuance of worksheet is based on Logistic requisition and material availability.
• Issue formulations / worksheets based on order place down to production and upon request by Production Manager for universal tinter formulation etc.
• Issue new / amendment formulation / worksheet when required to be changed by Technical.
• Follow-up urgent project orders to meet customer’s requirement date etc.
• To update all the ISO (9001:2015,14001:2015) and Halal documentations and filling.
• To issue adhoc raw material and packing materials requisition for production use and other department requirement.
• Any other task may assign by Production Manager / Superior from time to time.
• Others matters which may be assigned by the superior / management.

Requirement : -

• Diploma/Degree holder in any engineering field or equivalent  
• At least 3 to 5 years experience in handling of Production
• Able to communicate well with all levels of workers and the Management
• In charge of production, output and quality to meet ISO Standard, Environmental and HALAL
• Computer Literate and strong leadership    
• Independent and can work with minimum supervision
• Able to arrange the Schedule and Planning to meet deadline
• Initiative and cooperative

Responsibility & Authority : -

• To check attendance and record on attendance book and to supervise general worker.
• Receive packing instruction and checklist from production for further action.
• To ensure product code and batch number printed on products container and boxes according to packing instruction and checklist required.
• To distribute / send packing instruction and checklist worksheet to packing employee.
• To issued packing sheet for the finish products.
• To ensure all time the production floor housekeeping and cleanliness are being followed as well as the Safety and Health Procedures are in place.
• To review on the packing planning based on the requirements from day to day.
• To adhered strictly on the production procedures, as well as SOP.
• To shorting out problem on the packing materials and reject to supplier’s accordingly.
• Any other task may assign by Production Manager / superior from time to time.

Education/Qualification

• SPM and above or equivalent

Experience 

• At least 3 to 5 years experience in the similar capacity as a Production/Engineering Supervisor
• Able to communicate well with all levels of workers  
• Independent and can work with minimum supervision

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Asst.Training Manager in implementation of any other HR projects.
• To conduct introduction training for all direct new hires and incorporate relevant safety standards into all training programs and procedures.
• To work towards developing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of operators at assigned process.
• Deliver "On the Job" training to operators in order to achieve required standards and performance.
• To ensure all shop floor employees are adequately trained for job assigned and to maintain their training records for QMS purpose.

• To create SOP/WI if needed.
