Summary of Job Duties:

The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking an Associate Director of Executive Education. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of custom executive education programs for organizations in Northwest Arkansas. These programs offer to utilize faculty and external instructors' expertise to help area businesses develop their people and their overall organizations. This position reports to the Executive Director of Executive Education and Strategic Engagement.

Working with faculty, staff, team members, and external partners (clients), the Associate Director is responsible for:
• Developing business relationships with current and potential clients

The Associate Director of Primary Research for Dotdash Meredith is a seasoned position on our team expected to shape research strategy, ideate new approaches and cultivate partnerships with outside research companies to elevate our quality of  work. You will be looked to as an experienced leader who develops talent while managing strategic conversations with executives throughout the company.

Dotdash Meredith reaches over two-thirds of the internet population. At the heart of our work as the “primary research team” for DDM is a deep commitment to bringing rich, detailed explanations of consumer behavior, attitudes, and values across a range of business categories including health, food and cooking, home design and décor, entertainment and celebrity, beauty and style, finance and travel. Our proprietary intelligence through a healthy balance of qualitative and quantitative methodologies empowers our business leaders to make targeted, informed decisions based on extensive market knowledge.

Our team also oversees a substantial infrastructure of internal research panel communities that currently host 130K+ DDM consumers across 7 research panel sites for in-house, agile research that’s used in conjunction with our workload of outsourced research projects. • Seasoned quantitative and qualitative research professional with proven track record of executing diverse range of methodologies, ideally across a wide range of business disciplines, including sales & marketing, content development, new product development, target audience development, pricing strategy, predictive market trends, thought leadership, etc.

• Strong portfolio of translating primary research into powerful narratives that provide a clear course of action for internal stakeholders as well as external audiences such as advertisers or clients. A passion for storytelling with research.

• Must possess extensive experience with many of these primary research methodologies—surveys, focus groups & IDIs (in person or virtual), online bulletin boards & communities, UX testing, new product development research strategy, etc.

• The ideal candidate has deep experience with in-house research panels, e.g., how to coordinate site builds with panel suppliers, new member recruitment tactics and best engagement practices.

• Experience with data tabs is required. Proficiency with SPSS and advanced analytics (factor analysis, cluster analysis, etc.) not required by a plus.

As a Director of Operations, European Research, you will work closely with our Vice President, European Research to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of accurate data as we build out our products to support new markets. You will work with in-country teams of Directors and Managers to ensure that the Research function is optimised through its structure, management information, and core practices. You will understand how, as we enter new countries, market nuance will impact operating procedure and ensure that we remain able to produce accurate, timely and relevant data in all markets into which we expand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities:

• End to end ownership of the development and implementation of our global Private Bank Client Skills Training Strategy and Program

• Manage a global team of Training and Digital specialists who create and facilitate programmatic experiences and use data to drive in-market behavior change

• Understand the business needs and practices of high performing Advisors and use this knowledge to build collateral for training programs

• Oversee the development, facilitation, and marketing of training experiences

• Define and measure key metrics to help assess impact and communicate progress to Private Bank Operating Committee members and other stakeholders.

• Manage budget, maintain strong controls in in close partnership with internal partners and in accordance with company policies and regulatory changes

• Scheduled periodic international travel required

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Minimum 15 years work experience with more than 10 years in a banking or financial services environment and a minimum of 5 years human resources experience

• Leadership experience and proven ability to manage a large, global team

• Minimum of Bachelors degree or equivalent

• Experience designing, building and facilitating training programs

• Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to differing audiences

• Ability to work with large data sets to pull trends and insights, and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders

• Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups and regions

• We’re a global company whose primary business language is English and so fluency in English is required

• Certification from Singapore’s Institute of Human Resource Professionals would be an advantage for this role

Duties include but are not, limited to the following.

Primary Purpose. The primary purpose of the position is to facilitate, direct and coordinate scientific operational activities and programs related to the day-to-day operations of the Center's Data Management, Informatics and Quality Assurance functional sections and study teams as they design, conduct, and manage studies assigned to the CSPCC. The Deputy Director will supervise 2 Associate Center Directors, their staff and Informatics.

Oversees CSP Coordinating Center Operations 45 Percent

• Oversees the conduct and assesses center activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, consistent and accurate documentation, and reporting, and to identify deficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with the CSPCC Director, Administrative Officer, and other key stakeholders, to jointly ensure fiduciary accountability for center funds including overseeing the management of the center budget and project funding, ensuring that appropriate internal control systems are in place and preparing budget recommendations.
• Serves as supervisor to key CSP Center personnel to include Informatics, the ACD of Data Management and the SCD of Quality Assurance and ensures that appropriate levels of resources/staff are assigned to CSP Center activities.

Provide Oversight and Leadership to Study Teams 35 Percent

• Serves as the clinical trials operations expert and/or oversees the expertise provided by CSP Center staff in the planning of clinical research studies.
• Serves as supervisor to key scientific CSP Center personnel and ensures that appropriate levels of resources/staff are assigned to CSP Center activities. Supervises employees hired under more than one job series.

Performs Research Liaison Activities 20 Percent

• Represents CSP in communications and/or meetings with senior management within and outside VA, non-government experts, and the public, and serves as a liaison to other federal agencies and internal BA committees.
• Establishes working relationships with other agencies within and outside the Department, professional societies, groups, and individuals to share information on developments and technology in the scientific, technical, and administrative fields related to CSP research and development.

Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
