SALARY RANGE: MYR 9,760 - MYR 12,800
A DAY IN A LIFE
As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
- Develop logistics and transportation plans for Teleport services.
- Follow policies, guidelines, and procedures for quality and cost control.
- Monitor timely execution and delivery of Teleport services.
- Assist and develop policies, procedures, and guidance documents across operational functions.
- Conduct distribution of supplies, maintain inventory records, and analyze requirements to achieve desired outcomes.
- Represent Teleport as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
- Collaborate with Teleport departments and third parties to improve logistics and reach desirable outcomes.
- Define and collect relevant indicators and metrics for Teleport operations.
- Analyze performance data to identify strengths and weaknesses, and implement continuous improvement actions.
- Specify infrastructure, facility, and equipment requirements for projects in operations.
- Interact with airline scheduling, network requirements, and regulatory teams for freighter operations.
- Liaise with engineering on maintenance requirements for freighters.
- Experience in the logistics industry
- Strong leadership and exceptional people management skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Driven by results, with a data-oriented approach to decision making
- Hands-on attitude and a structured, analytical way of working
- Thrives in a lean, fast-paced organization
- Self-motivated and highly goal-oriented
- Comfortable embracing and adapting to new technologies
- Willingness to travel in Southeast Asia
- Technical background in processes and documentation
- Minimum of 7+ years of working experience
- At least 3+ years in a managerial position
