The Get to Market / Sustain on Market Value Team (GtMSoM) is seeking a highly motivated individual responsible for developing and supporting solution architectures for the Our Company's Research Labs division. Reporting to a GtMSoM Value Team Architect, this role will be responsible for integrating with key programs across the division to implement the architecture strategy and processes in a consistent manner. In addition, this role will be responsible for contributing thought leadership to the evolution of architecture processes.

Lead and design platform architecture that will enable best-in-class IT capabilities supporting our Company Research Labs Information technology product lines spanning Global Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety, Quality / Compliance, Pipeline Portfolio Planning and Development Data Consumption
Define & implement integration to systems & solutions that meet product requirements
Provide architecture guidance and thought leadership in developing and implementing vision and roadmap for Data and Analytics capabilities across the entire data value chain from ingestion to insights.
Design solutions to drive and deliver value by re-factoring existing monolithic application stacks within Life Sciences, automation, and digital transformation through use of Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, robotic process automation, cloud-based services, and other emergent technologies.
Be responsible for the delivery of architectural artifacts including solution architectures, solution roadmaps, capability models, etc. and contribute to shaping the future state of the solutions
Evaluate project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform process re-engineering if required. Find resolution to technical issues as they arise
Partner and align with other Architecture stakeholders including Enterprise Architects, and solution architects from other product lines and organizations to develop reusable technology products that leverage digital technologies
Collaborate and communicate with all stakeholders, including internal and external developers, end-users, product line/product owners and architects. Update stakeholders on the status of product development processes.
Evolve the solution architecture capability and overall discipline within the GtMSoM Value Team
Position Qualifications:
Education:
B.S. or higher in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in architecture, technical analysis, design and/or development of enterprise IT systems and/or Data and Analytics platform.
Strong process understanding, system architecture skills with analytical thinking for problem solving
Experience in maintaining architectural roadmaps focused on business capability enablement
Demonstrated experience in designing, writing API wrappers and leveraging API on applications that natively do not expose API as an integration option
Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages (python, Java, JavaScript, R, C/C++, C#, Shell, etc.)
Experience with Agile, DevOps and CICD
Industry and/or Academic experience with standard AI and ML techniques and RPA.
Proven hands-on expertise and knowledge of current software development, cloud, security technologies
Able to provide technical direction to maintain AWS cloud infrastructure in optimal configuration from both technical and budgetary perspectives
Enthusiasm to quickly learn and experiment new technologies and systems
Technical thought leadership and sound understanding of the technology trends and application landscape both internally at our Company and externally in the industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and business audiences
Demonstrated good presentation and communication skills to present complex architecture design, concepts, processes in a clear and appealing manner
Strong organization, influencing, and follow-up skills
Must work independently while owning and leading projects while communicating updates, outcomes, and objectives
Preferred:
AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification
Exposure to Veeva platforms is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with Application development, testing and implementation in external hosting and cloud environments is a plus.
Prior working experience as a technical leader implementing and/or following Agile methodologies.
Experience with Data and Analytics platform including strong technical understanding of tools and architecture
High proficiency in architecting scalable and performant solutions across Data Management, Integrations, Visualization and Advanced Analytics
Exposure to Life Sciences domain and Health Care is a big plus
Exposure to RPA frameworks like UIPath to automate repeatable processes in complex business workflow in life sciences area
