· Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping of in-house dormitory and eating/rest areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows

· Clean fridges and washing machines, and other electrical appliances when needed

Job Description:

• Responsible for the overall production of capacitor products for the Singapore company (“PIDSG”) and its subsidiary situated in Batam, Indonesia.
• Strategic planning to meet the business objective and lead the teams to achieve KPI.
• Ensure that monthly production and shipments are achieved based on the ISP and customers’ demand.
• Collaboration with parent business division and other internal and/or external parties to expand production capacity and strengthen technical support for production activities.
• Collaboration with sales team to create new business opportunities.
• Responsible for aligning production strategies and operational goals to exceed the expectations of parent business division in Japan.
• Drive continuous improvement and improve the efficiency of all production activities.
• Establish workplace safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Business Management fields.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in MNC and in factory operations.
• Willing to travel to Indonesia to oversee the subsidiary business. Required to be posted to Indonesia.
• Proficient in Japanese in order to liaise with related party, required to have at least JLPT N1 level as the role required to communicate with Japan HQ and translation of Japanese documents to English, and vice versa (Business level).
• Familiar with Japanese Firm operations.

Our client is a highly reputable builder with over 30 years within the industry and has excellent relationships and a solid pipeline of work. Due to project workloads, they are looking to expand their team and require a General Foreman on one of their latest projects in Western Sydney.

Your new role
Based on site, you will be managing several different trades, and you will be responsible for contractor co-ordination and overall site management as you lead the project. You will manage programming and be responsible for all HSE and QA requirements.
The successful candidate will have previously worked for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Builders and have a solid structural and finishing background, ideally on large-scale commercial projects.



What you'll need to succeed


Previous Foreman experience across commercial, industrial, aged care or educational projects - $80M+
Trade background essential
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised
Enthusiasm to work within the team and work cooperatively
