RESPONSIBILITIES:

GOODS IN

· loading and unloading goods from delivery vans or PLT received.

· checking that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received

· recording any damaged, missing or faulty goods

· signing the delivery form, once satisfied that the goods are complete

· moving the goods to the correct area in the warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Thales is looking for a Warehouse Operator responsible for the timely and efficient flow of materials through the warehouse and in the dockyard to support ship maintenance activity.

• Receiving - verify & inspect incoming material & documentation, process receipts, track shipments.

• Shipping - prepare domestic, US & international outgoing freight IAW packaging specifications; complete documentation and labelling, comply with customs & export requirements.

• Process requisitions, issue, pick, package & move material; distribute parts for customer delivery.

• Inventory control functions including cycle counting, stocktaking tasks & investigations. Also, monitor stocking levels & shelf-life inventory, review and recommend adjustments.

• Accurate and timely data entry into the Inventory Management System to update material activity and status. Also prepare and generate warehouse reports, maintain registers, record keeping.

• Operate delivery vehicles, forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE); load/unload transport vehicles & containers; along with general daily housekeeping to maintain a high level of cleanliness in the work areas.

• Provide support in the implementation of improved SAP functionality to improve logistic efficiencies as well as support activities to ensure compliance with ISO series quality accreditation and Defense regulatory requirements.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience performing similar activities within a logistic environment.

• Proven warehouse & logistics experience in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines.

• Previous experience using of SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

• Knowledge of the U.S. International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Canadian Export and Import Permits Act.

Pay Transparency

The anticipated Total Target Compensation (TTC), inclusive of annual salary and bonus eligibility, for this role is based on $40,035.80 - $74,352.20 CAD Annual range. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, provincial, and federal laws.
