- Management of supplier safety and quality data metrics, including:

Who you are

You’ll possess knowledge of statistical analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques and excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

About the Position

The Facilities Manager will be responsible to oversee all building-related activities including to preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. • Enhance the Physical Security and Facilities presence in the APAC region, as well as at the local level and establish strong working relationships and trust with key leaders and teams in the region. 
• Establish strong working relationships with key individuals and teams across the offices within the APAC region which is essential to accomplishing the regional objectives Liaise with Functional and operational management to determine Security and Facility needs and ensuring that they are met.
• Commission additional security services for the region according to the identified needs of the Company. Ensure all legally mandated physical security and facilities programs are adhered to.
• Oversee the design, justification, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and management of physical security and facilities programs to optimally balance systems, staff, risk, and budget to protect employees, visitors, vendors, assets, and infrastructure.
• Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements. Direct program of contracted security services (both human and electronic) in execution of business requirements as measured by SLA’s, KPI’s, and other indicators; as well as maintain Facilities-related indicators.   Serve as the primary interface and liaison with public safety organizations.
• Maintain appropriate relationships with local, state, and federal police and other related government agencies. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to direct investigations into breaches of security.  Develops close working relationships with management, company peers and industry counterparts to ensure alignment of company goals with current corporate security industry and regulatory trends.
• Coordinates and implements physical security operations and activities to ensure protection of assets while ensuring optimal use of personnel and equipment. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to develop and implement facility security best practices. Assist in creating and implementing physical security and facilities procedures in accordance with corporate policies, regulations, directives, and operating procedures.
• Define, plan, coordinate, drive and execute security and facilities upgrades and retrofits for projects. To include, identifying and sourcing local vendors and providers. Ability to assess and evaluate facilities systems, conditions, and environment to make appropriate remediation actions, recommendations, and notification escalations.
• Conduct routine risk/threat assessments and make recommendations as needed to mitigate risk; as well as identify security gaps and opportunities and develop appropriate mitigation recommendations and plans from a multidisciplinary perspective.
• Research and deploy state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security and facility management techniques to safeguard organizational assets. Performs staff leadership role and promotes motivation through effective management and mentoring.
• Establishes goals and objectives for team performance and manages attainment of those goals. Reviews documentation created by team members and peers to provide constructive feedback. Keep senior management apprised on the status of Security and Facilities issues and initiatives.

What you bring

This is a full-time position, and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday; but are dependent to meet the needs of the position and may require working extended hours.  This position regularly may require long hours and weekend work.  Domestic and global travel may be required which could be up to 15%.

In your new job as a Facilities Manager, you will manage hard & soft services scope (technical, cleaning, archiving, pest, catering & estates).

The role holder will manage a team of approx. 30 people plus sub-contractors, ensuring that an effective and efficient service is delivered and maintained and that service levels are in line with the contractual CI's, KPI's and PI's. You'll also monitor and control supplier, sub-contractor and labour costs to ensure financial targets are achieved. We seek a Facilities Manager with demonstrated experience managing the delivery of hard (fire services, electrical) and soft services (cleaning, food) and a team of 17 Sodexo staff.   You will manage the planned work schedules, and will review & evaluate building works as well as coordinate all aspects of building maintenance and essential services via contractor management.

• Coordinate inspections and meetings as required across the portfolio including statutory annual inspections, FRAs, and any inputs to Asbestos Register
• Manage void property inspections and ensuring compliance with insurance policy
• Develop strong relationships with tenants and ensure they receive appropriate communications in a professional manner.
• First responder to any property related issue reported via tenants or helpdesk and deal with issues efficiently whilst communicating promptly to affected parties
• To host regular meetings with Occupiers and Special Interest Groups.
• To ensure the Property Portfolio is compliant with current/new legislation.
• Compose, update and maintain tenant handbooks, fit out guides etc

Role Purpose:

The Facilities & Site Manager will be responsible for the management and coordination of all maintenance responsibilities for the buildings, grounds, equipment and contractors and to ensure the smooth running of the hospital. The Facilities & Site Manager will be responsible for the housekeeping, maintenance and catering teams to ensure a safe, clean and pleasant environment for all staff and patients and will act as the Fire Officer as well as being the Health & Safety Lead.

What you will be doing:

Ensure all maintenance is undertaken throughout the business with minimal disruption to patient experience and infection control
Ensure relevant projects are planned, designed and executed.
Working with the in-house architect with the development and planning.
Ensuring that all contracts associated to facilities are cost effective, maintained, monitored against compliance and renewed.
Liaising with contractors to ensure compliance and delivery of all agreed works in line with business expectations.
Ensuring cover for early morning starts for contractors are on site to complete services
Liaising with all departments with regards medical equipment maintenance and effective PPE is in place, ensuring minimal business disruption.
Manage Health and Safety across the estate, ensuring documentation and monitoring of risk assessments, employee induction and incident management is completed
Assisting with risk assessments for any new methods of work in the business and liaise with H&S inspectors to complete business wide H&S risk assessment.
Making sure the business is safe at all times for patients, visitors and staff.
Ensuring the business continuity plan is up to date and all actions plans are correct, participate and liaise with Director of Governance for table top planning
To complete the 3 monthly business risk assessment, ensuring all actions from previous are completed, delegating fire wardens throughout the business making sure there are a minimum of 5 on site at all times.
Liaising with independent fire risk assessors to complete fire risk assessments annually for all sites.

To physically assist with IT for the business, setting up new PC’s and screens, printers, telephones. Dealing with day-to-day issues and coming up with new ideas to ensure the smoothness running of the business e.g. Teams meetings, server rooms, WIFI capabilities, general user errors and faulty equipment.
