Summary of the position:

This role is a key member of the HR team and reports directly to the Head of HR. The candidate should have proven end-to-end HR experience, ideally in Financial Services industry.

Main responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with stakeholder to deliver professional HR advisories, provide seamless HR support to its business as required and drive the implementation of HR practices and initiatives.

• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline.
• At least 12 years of HR Generalist/ Business Partnering of HR Advisory experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and deliver within tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge of local employment law and compliance requirements.
• Possess good interpersonal skills, confidence and maturity to interact effectively with stakeholders and all levels of staff

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a HR Lead of Talent and Leadership Development, this role will be responsible for strategizing, integrating and operationalizing the Talent Systems - Talent Identification, Succession Planning, Leadership and Career Development, Retention and Engagement.

Strategic Talent Partnering and Workforce Planning

• Work with key stakeholders to advance Talent Strategy in alignment with company's strategic goals.
• Lead and operationalise the end-to-end Talent Identification and Succession Planning system, working with C-suites, HRBP team in identifying, grooming, and positioning high-potential talents for leadership and specialized roles.
• Work with HRBPs to track and monitor our Talents individual development plans to ensure engagement and growth.
• Partner with HRBP and Leaders to build holistic workforce plan, including identification of critical positions and talent gaps, validating talent development needs. Other aspects of workplace plan include new operating models, new skillsets and competencies, career pathways, job redesign and change management plans.

Talent and Leadership Development

• Develop and operationalise customised talent and career development initiatives.
• Coach HRBP, line managers and supervisors to provide consistent talent and career development advice.

Talent Engagement and Retention

• Drive Talent Retention efforts to retain critical talents and mitigate attrition risks.
• Work with stakeholders to measure talent engagement and retention KPIs.
• Leverage on data analytics to support business decisions around Talent strategy.

Headship and Leadership Appointments

• Drive leadership and headship appointments efforts. Working with HRBPs to operationalise, and to ensure governance and outcomes (RASIC model) of HR processes that lead to successful leadership and headship appointments/reappointments.

Job Requirements

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in leading and implementing HR, Talent and/or Leadership Organisational Development strategies and initiatives.
• Strong in process and project management, as well as internal consulting and facilitation.
• Interested in exploring the HR data and analytics.

The Deputy Director, HR Business Partnering (Operations) will manage a team of geographically dispersed HR Business Partners across His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). The role will involve working strategically with senior business leaders to develop and oversee the delivery of people strategies and interventions which focus on retention, building capability and capacity, leadership development, attraction, talent and inclusion, ensuring alignment with People Group and Outcome Delivery Plan (ODP) priorities. The role will work alongside the DD HR Business Partnering (CEO) ensuring collective priorities and coordination across HMPPS people plans.

The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of the team's business plan objectives, working closely with both the HMPPS People Intelligent Client Function and People Group colleagues to determine appropriate cross-HMPPS priorities and setting direction for the operational HR Business Partnering team.

The post holder will help to shape and support the successful transition and embedding of the new HR Business Partnering operating model, leading the change and building and maintaining team engagement. They will also help to embed a revised HRBP service offer across HMPPS, ensuring clear expectations are communicated in order to provide a professional service to our stakeholders. This will also include building HR capability and talent within the team.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of Human Resource experience with at least 8 years leading a small Human Resource team. Depending on the candidate’s suitability and experience, he/she could be considered for Deputy Director position if the year of experience is slightly below requirement.
• Proven experience in leading and implementing HR change management projects/programs with engagement at senior leadership levels.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $132,500 -- $282,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
