Our company is expanding our business overseas in China and Hongkong.
We will need a Business Management General Manager to manage and set-up the business.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing employees in order to make sure that the organisation operates according to its vision and goals.
The General Manager will also have overall responsibility for most operational departments
On a daily basis, the General Manager will be involved in promoting the goals of an organisation while working towards reducing costs and improving profits.
General Manager duties and responsibilities:
1)Oversee a team of associates and ensure that each member is familiar with and abiding by the principles outlined in company policies,procedures and codes of conduct;
2)Direct all activities related to the recruiting, hiring, retaining,promoting and termination of employees;
3)Provide trainings to all team members and encourage active participation; allot time for hands-on learning to identify areas where skills can be developed for optimal success;
4)Create budgets, manage all financial activities and participate in reconciling expenditures to maintain a positive cash flow and encourage full disclosure;
5)To start overseas branch and maintain storefronts that are marketable, organized and clean to build customer trust and loyalty; create a work environment that is conducive to positivity and superior customer service;
6)Contribute ideas for developing business strategies and using creative marketing tactics to increase revenue;
7)Document all activities and be able to confidently report data to members of executive management for use in making important decisions for the district;
8)Plan and coordinate business operations in district offices to achieve financial goals;
9)Perform resource allocation,workload assignment and schedule management for assigned projects.
10)Evaluating current business processes and systems;Supporting sales teams and key account managers in retention of existing clients.
11)Resolve all customer issues and ensure to provide outstanding customer service;
12)Identify business challenges and suggest appropriate action plans;
13)Build proper online marketing platform and maintain a good relationship with Asian country business partners;
14)Perform market research and complex analysis of possible opportunities; Create, review and implement effective business plans;
15)other job assigned.
Requirements:
1)Proven and Minimum for a total 10 years' experience in a management position in at least 2 Asia countries;
2) At least 1 year related working experience in Singapore/HK/MACAO employment agency;
3)Strong communication and leadership skills are a must;
4)Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word and Excel,familiar with online marketing and internet website maintenance;
5)Preference for applicants who have previous experience as a district business general manager in China or Hongkong/Macao before;
6)Proficiency in Speak, Read and Write for Mandarin Chinese, because employee are required to travel to China for document preparation, explanation, signing contracts and also process China work visa and work pass with the Government there in China; Knowledge of process china visa/work pass, and deal with relevant authorities in China;
7)Willing to work in long hours and public holidays, and willing to be frequent traveler;
8)Driving licence required, company may request the staff to convert driving license and drive in China.
9)Familiar with China/HK/MACAO Market.
