• To ensure all technical documentations are well maintaining for audit.
• Managed a team of chemists to meet technical KPI.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D team in seasoning compounding, new product development, and application support.
• Assist in monthly new seasoning method development and presentation preparation.
• Coordinate with Purchasing for raw material and flavour sourcing for innovative products.
• Conduct quality control assessments on finished products and incoming raw materials.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, support plant hygiene checks, and assist with HACCP and Halal quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver management reporting on Embedded Value (EV) and New Business Embedded Value (NBEV) and highlight insights to management
• As the Prophet Manager, the role is responsible in ensuring Prophet model governance framework is in line with industry best practice and upholding the standards for Prophet development work
• Collaborate with Finance department to deliver business planning and forecasting key financial metrics (NBEV, Insurance Operating Results) and variance analysis
• Provide guidance and review the work of team members to ensure timely and high quality deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Actuarial Sciance or equivalent
• Good progress in actuarial qualifications with US, UK, or Australia Actuarial Institute or newly qualified actuary
• 6 to 9 years of work experience in actuarial functions, preferably in financial reporting and Prophet modelling
• Technical, meticulous, and able to apply critical thinking
• Able to communicate in simple and concise way to stakeholders
• Able to work independently and collaborate with other team members within actuarial and other departments
• Adaptable, open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
• Experience in stochastic modelling will be a plus

· Preparing test request for production running for the 2 production plants

· Check the raw material spec / stock file:

- Monitor Unstuffing for incoming cargo for urgent usage

- Check through COA and standby to arrange for test before unstuffing

- Arrange for urgent draw sample upon unstuffing:

- Ensure Sample sent to MLS

- Monitor Test Results availability before production

- Send Spreadsheet for Approval

- Send Email for Transfer and W/O

- Print and check all COA & HC, send Email to QCs and MLS

- Arrange for sampling staff to prepare Trial Sample and send to MLS on time

- Ensure Trial Sample meet the required specifications of customers

- Ensure all stocks in the 2 plants are ready for production

Requirements

The Singapore American School seeks enthusiastic certified teachers to join the SAS team next year as math assistant teachers (ATs). Our ATs will serve in our new math tutoring center as well as alongside our classroom teachers supporting the math needs of our students. Successful candidates must have an infectious enthusiasm for math and be willing to engage both high-performing and struggling students in mathematics learning. We are only seeking applicants who feel that you can make math both relevant and fun for students.

This position is expected to commence in Aug 2024.

Responsibilities:

The Mathematics Assistant Teachers will be based primarily in our math tutoring center in the library; supporting students ages 15-18 years old. Assistant teachers will also participate in math department Professional Learning Community (PLC) teams and add support in classrooms when needed. This is a new pilot program so flexibility is a must for the preferred candidates.

The actions listed below each category are examples of what the mathematics Assistant Teacher will typically do in a given week.

Support for Learning

• Develop effective relationships with children, teachers, and sometimes parents to support a conducive learning environment
• Support students who voluntarily drop in or are directed to our math tutoring center area with mathematics questions
• Work alongside and help guide SAS mathematics student peer tutors within the library
• Participate in classes multiple times per week, mostly algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus classes to understand the curriculum and to assist classroom teachers where needed
• Participate in teacher PLC team meetings to better understand the curriculum, assignments, and assessments
• Occasionally lead pre-teach, re-teach, and assessment remediation with small groups of students (as requested by the PLC teams)
• Be willing to proctor mathematics tests for students if needed
• Provide feedback to teachers regarding individual student learning as appropriate
• Participate in Office of Learning and division recommended/required professional development and attend relevant training
• Once the program is established, be trained in math learning diagnostic tools to provide intensive interventions to students with large gaps in learning.

Supervision and Student Care

• Ensure children’s safety during times of supervision
• Assist teacher(s) and enforce protocols during times of emergency (e.g., during fire drills, during lock-downs, evacuation)
• Ensure SAS child safeguarding standards are being followed at all times

Qualifications Required

• Researching about competitor’s products and evaluation of detailed function of their products.
• Conduct Market Research on products of Security System in ASEAN region
• Cooperate with Japan HQ R&D and China R&D center for product development
• Conduct Survey about existing and future infrastructure, electrical power / telecom network etc. to ensure compatibility of security products and services.
• Provide support as Field Technical Specialist and visiting clients to check and maintain CCTV Surveillance System.
• Assist in obtaining required technical certifications for new / existing products for each countries
• Design and develop test plans for security alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems, adhering to industry standards and company protocols.
• Conduct rigorous testing of all system components, including control panels, sensors, cameras, access readers, and communication devices.
• Simulate real-world security scenarios to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Maintain detailed test records and reports for future reference
• Analyze test results, identify and troubleshoot system malfunctions, and document findings clearly.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturer or distributor to resolve identified issues and ensure system optimization.
• Provide technical support to internal customers in ASEAN region
• Conduct in-depth research on emerging security technologies and their potential application

Qualifications:
