Accounts Assistant – Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely in accordance with established procedures

The Accounts Executive/Accounts Assistant reports to the Accountant to support the finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. He/She covers duties such as work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll or other accounting tasks. We are seeking a new and experienced Accountants Assistant for the SENAD Group Head Office.

The main purpose of the role is to support the Group’s management and financial reporting and support the Head of Finance to ensure that appropriate consistent procedures are in place and subject to internal review thereby giving credibility to the financial results. The successful applicant will also maintain the cashbook for the Group’s services ensuring accurate reconciliation on a weekly basis, raise sales invoices and support with the weekly managing of the groups pre-paid cards.

Successful candidates should have some previous experience of working in a busy office environment, have sound IT skills in all areas of Microsoft Office and preferably have some previous Sage accounts experience. Travel to other SENAD locations may be required on occasion, therefore candidates need their own method of transport.
