As a 3D Modeler and Animator, you will be responsible for creating original quality 3D assets to be used in our various games. Primarily working on unreal engine for fortnite (“UEFN”), you will also have a hand in shaping and building out the game environments for our games, and from time to time, are also expected to assist in SFX/Particle Effects. You will work with a team of game designers and developers, and your keen eye and dedication to the craft to create amazing 3D models will be instrumental in your success at Avium.

Responsibilities:

• Create quality 3D assets, animation and special effects on industry-standard software, and import them into UEFN, Epic’s software programme for creating games on the Fortnite platform

• With guidance from the game designer, build out basic game environments using UEFN, and after which, to import and place 3D assets according to the game design.

• Collaborate with a team of Fortnite creators, and game designers, to develop top games on Fortnite’s creative platform

• Contribute to Avium’s library of 3D assets

• Contribute to the art direction for game environments and 3D assets

Skills/Requirements:

• A passion and excitement to be in the games industry

• Deep experience in industry-standard 3D and animation software such as Maya, Blender, Zbrush and texture/material authoring tools such as Photoshop and Substance.

• Attention to detail for both aesthetic and technical quality

• Experience in integrating 3D assets into game engines. Fortnite (UEFN) and Roblox experience is a desired plus.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination. About the opportunity

ARIAM Hub is a collaboration between leading academic researchers and experts from the Australian robotics industry supported by the Australian Research Council to deliver research excellence in robotics for asset management. ARIAM spans 3 renowned Australian universities: The University of Sydney, QUT and ANU. This position will be supervised by Dr Donald Dansereau, head of the Robotic Imaging Lab within the Australian Centre for Robotics (ACFR) at the University of Sydney. The ACFR is one of Australia’s leading robotics research groups, and the Robotic Imaging Lab is focused on endowing machines with new ways of seeing the world.

We are expanding our team and have multiple positions opening as part of ARIAM. We are currently seeking an ambitious and talented Postdoctoral Research Associate to undertake fundamental and applied research in novel computer vision approaches to high-fidelity drone-based 3D reconstruction of buildings and infrastructure. As part of the Australian Robotic Inspection and Management Research Hub (ARIAM), this position involves working closely with Hub Industry Partner Trendspek on their precision asset modelling and intelligence technology. As part of the research hub you will have opportunities to travel and collaborate with our partners across Australia.

Our current research will focus on combining novel scene representations and computational imaging approaches to enable greater performance in modelling visually challenging scenes from drone-based imagery. Depending on interest and ability there is also scope to develop novel imaging technologies to further improve performance.

This robotic vision-focused position will advance the 3D reconstruction technology required for modelling complex 3D infrastructure. Key challenges include complex appearance due to reflective and transparent surfaces, complex geometries, and dense occlusion from vegetation.

Depending on ability and interest, candidate approaches can include combining representations and visual processing from the graphics and vision communities, including inverse rendering and novel visual and geometric representations, and novel computational imaging devices and algorithms. This project will offer dramatic improvements in sensing robustness and performance, and geometric and textural accuracy in drone-based 3D asset inspection.

• Responsible for leadership and training to lower level engineers and technicians.
• Responsible for insuring the day-to-day operation, reliability, and integrity of the enterprise voice communications network. This includes the installation, maintenance, and management of all voice equipment such as PBX, voicemail, video conference system, network management and diagnostic tools, etc.
• Responsible for performing system generation, tuning, configuration, upgrades, performance management, disaster recovery, and usage reporting as required.
• This position is responsible to work with all technology team member to insure proper design of voice and data networks.

• Analyses existing customer network/voice infrastructure and leads team in identifying potential enhancements to sustain and improve optimization and performance.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science Engineering/Telecommunications or related Technology curriculum preferred
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in supporting enterprise level Telecoms/PABX systems
• Experience in 24x7 environment with on-call responsibilities
• Experience working in a high-pressure environment
• Experience supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco enterprise-level PABX Environments.
• Understanding of Disaster Recovery and High Availability
• Experience in highly virtual environments
• Strong personnel management, analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
• Formal training in CISCO PABX systems implementation administration & management
• CISCO Collaboration Certification will be preferred
• Candidates with system networking experience shall be an advantage

• At least five (5) years of working experience in 3D modelling in projects in the oil and gas industry. 
• Worked on FPSO projects
• Willing to work in shipyard environment
• Skilled in 3D modeling.  Proficient in Smart 3D, Navisworks and Smart Review.  High proficiency in English language. Proficiency in local language is an advantage but not a must.
