We are representing our client a food trading company focusing on sourcing, important and distribution of food & beverage products around the world. Our client is currently looking for a sales-oriented and result-driven candidate to fill the position of Sales Executive/Senior Executive (Food Service & General Trade), based in Klang.
- 5 working days (Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5.30pm)
- Office location: Klang, Selangor
- Hybrid work (2-3 days/week in office (morning))
- Fixed transport allowance: RM1,000
- Monthly sales commission (Based on KPI)
- Annual year end bonus
Main Responsbilities
Sales Management
- Identify and leverage new business opportunities, implementing effective sales strategies to attract and secure new customers
- Cultivate strong and lasting customer relationships to drive continuous sales growth
- Meet customers and prepare sales proposals
- Promptly address customer inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Excel in achieving monthly sales targets as part of KPI
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Marketing teams to shape branding and provide tailored marketing support for diverse customer needs
- Develop a professional rapport with customers, fostering positive brand loyalty
- Efficiently manage accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding targets related to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, product and service sales mix, customer retention, and acquisition
- Actively canvass potential customers through various methods, including cold calling and networking
- Collaborate with the brand and marketing team to conduct thorough market research, gaining insights into trends and competitive analysis
- Demonstrate extensive product knowledge in the dynamic foodservice industry
- Work with logistic and operation team to ensure smooth sales and delivery process.
Distribution
- Ensure distribution objectives for specific SKUs are achieved as per sales plan
- Focus on driving sales in general trade and food service channel
- To ensure a high standard of presence and merchandising for key products in the trade
- To ensure target price levels for both trade and consumers are implemented
Promotions
- Implement promotional campaigns set out by marketing department
- Identify target outlets, negotiate and implement promotional activities at the highest possible standard
- Feedback and evaluation of results for sales and marketing management’s review
- Participate in trade fairs or exhibitions whenever needed
Credit Control
- To recommend appropriate level of credit and duration to trade accounts as per standard policies and procedures
- To ensure collection through pro-active evaluation and management of receivables in order to achieve collection target as set by sales management
Trade Relationships
- Develop and maintain amiable win-win relationship with key customers
- Manage and improve performance of assigned trade accounts
Requirement
- Minimum Diploma holder
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in F&B or FMCG industry
- Possess own transport
- Ability to speak in multiple language (English, Mandarin, Malay) due to business needs.
