Job Responsibilities

• Your principal, main, major or most important duty includes one or some combination of the following tasks:

  1. interview, select and train Team Members;

  2. direct the work of Team Members;

  3. appraise Team Members’ productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status;

  4. handle Team Member issues including, but not limited to complaints;

• Overall management of the day-to-day store operations at their assigned location
• Regularly direct the work of their subordinates providing guidance to ensure that all operational goals/initiatives are met.
• Oversee the Food Service Leaders in stores with Food Service to ensure that they meet all of the overall functions of being a profitable food service business
• Provide superior and quality customer service through consistent interaction. Serve as a role model to store personnel.
• Assist customers and responds to customer's complaints or inquiries
• The Store Leader is responsible for accurately completing daily reports and reviewing daily close reports.
• Responsible for accuracy and integrity of inventory values in regards to shrink
• Set and adjust employee pay records, and hours worked
• Responsible for daily bank deposits, ordering and picking up change orders and ATM funds, loading safe, ATM, etc.
• Determine what is needed for merchandise, supplies, equipment, food service, and places weekly orders.
• Scan in orders/vendors and build relationships with the vendors at their assigned location
• Hire, train, coach and discipline all store personnel including the completion of documentation
• Plan, prepare, and post store personnel work schedules. Responsible for daily timecard edits and verify the accuracy of hours worked and entering vacation hours for store personnel.
• Supervision of all employees, Associate Store Leaders, Food Service Store Leaders, and shifts, by assigning and verifying completion of job duties.
• Facilitate coverage of shifts when employees call in or don't show up
• Ensure compliance of store personnel with policies and procedures, including established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices
• Responsible for merchandising the store according to company guidelines
• Timely execution of marketing promotions and price changes
• Execute company standards for mystery shop programs
• Manage their assigned store's labor budgets and adjust employees pay/time and the hours worked

SUMMARY
As an Empowered Leader, the Store Leader- Hourly works independently to directly influence the performance of everyone who interacts with guests and supports the store environment. Using elements of GameStop's Buy-Sell-Trade Model, The Circle of Life, and Solution Selling  techniques, the Store Leader ensures world-class guest service experiences for all of GameStop’s guests. The Store Leader-Hourly makes discretionary decisions involving all sales initiatives, operational effectiveness, marketing, scheduling, employment, and all other aspects of the day-to-day business processes of a GameStop store. This position supervises a combination of associates including an Assistant Store Leader, Senior Game Advisors and Game Advisors, which may vary based upon store size, location, and expected sales volume.

o Schedule store associates to achieve optimum guest service levels, and delegate store tasks to ensure proper completion in an environment that puts the guest first.
o Communicate clearly and regularly with store associates, other Store Leaders, the store support center, and multi-unit leaders to ensure that all GameStop store initiatives are implemented according to plan.
o Protect company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practices.

o Count, balance and reconcile daily business transaction totals correctly and accurately in the POS system.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and present state-required proof of age documents
• High school diploma or GED required; An Associate’s or accredited Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred
• Three or more years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience required; at least 1 year of retail management experience preferred
• Must be able to work alone and move throughout the store unassisted, for extended periods (up to 12 hours per day)
• Must be able to lift and/or move objects and displays (up to 20 lbs.), bend, stoop, reach with arms and hands, and climb on ladders
• Must be able to occasionally travel unassisted via car and/or plane to offsite conferences and meetings (less than 10%)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Proficient guest service skills
• Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English; bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that includes multiple overlapping priorities
• Proficient knowledge of operating a point-of-sale computer system and properly completing required paperwork
• Proficient understanding of basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

[What the role is:]
As a Procurement Account Manager, you play a critical role of guiding and advising the divisions in their end-to-end procurement processes. You will work closely with the divisions to ensure the procurement process supports the divisions’ business needs and adheres to the prevailing procurement principles and policies.

[What you will be working on:]

• Work with divisions on their purchase requirements and propose appropriate procurement approaches and sourcing strategies that best meet divisions’ business needs
• Ensure purchases made by divisions comply with the Government Instructions Manual (IM) on Procurement and NLB’s Procurement Policy and Guidelines.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including GeBIZ transactions, from review of procurement documents to preparation of contractual documents
• Review NLB’s procurement processes, policies and guidelines to ensure procurement governance and efficiency for NLB
• Raise staff awareness of procurement matters through the regular engagement of staff e.g. conduct briefings to staff on procurement policies and guideline
• Improve NLB’s procurement processes through automation, technology and analytics e.g. use of RPA bot to perform GeBIZ transactions, perform data analytics to identify procurement trends and areas of improvement, etc

• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in public sector procurement, with experience in GeBIZ 2.0 and contract management will be an added advantage
