The Presales Engineer applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Zerto message and vision including technical architecture presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers and partners
• Conduct live and virtual customer meeting presentations and demonstrations
• Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
• Lead technical sales calls
• Qualify sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
• Stay current with continuous education of Zerto’s latest software, platforms and cloud solutions
• Acts as technical expert to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of customers
• Implement and manage POCs to technical closure
• Ownership of all pre-sales activities in support of technical evaluation and validation of Zerto solution 
• Continuously drive and promote value of Zerto solutions to partners and customers
• Interact with Product Management to ensure the product fills customer requirements and communicate these requirements

About You:

• 5 to 7 years’ experience of Pre-Sales Engineering or similar customer facing role, experience preferably in a software or data center environment

• Must have fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously
• Strong practical understanding of Datacenter and Cloud architecture (VMWare, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment; the ability to handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up
• Possess a high level of business acumen and experience working with all levels of decision makers including C level personnel, helping to bring technology solutions to solve the most critical business challenges
• Ability to travel 50%
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other major CRM
• Knowledge of or familiarity of real-life IT environments

How you will do it:

• Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with customers, enabling the company to be active & leading, speedy response time, highly profitable, excellent payment collection position at all time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in assigned studies for investigative sites, RSU Team Lead, Clinical Operations, Feasibility, Site Identification, Project Leadership and GICS. The Senior Manager, Employee Relations will be accountable for working with employees, managers and leaders across different teams, building trusted relationships quickly, and leading with a high level of competence, empathy and creativity to drive the right solutions.

What a typical day looks like:

Investigations & Domestic Inquiries

• Accountable for the analysis and resolution of complex employee relations issues related to policy or culture violation, independently or by collaborating with managers, peers in Human Resources (HR) and Legal as appropriate. Recommends solutions to address issues that are immediate but also puts in place policies and practices that are preventive.
• Contacts and interviews complainants, reported witnesses, and respondents related to policy or culture violations. Documents findings and maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality.
• Effectively contracts with and manages stakeholder engagement and expectations. Accountable for strategy and for all aspects of an investigation: e.g., stakeholder involvement & communications internally and with external labor authorities.
• Collaborates with and seeks counsel from senior peers or managers as needed on proposed strategy and approach depending on complexity and/or sensitivity of the complaint, or seniority/ visibility of the parties involved. • Schedules & trains managers and HR Business Partners on all relevant matters e.g., changes to labor laws, performance management and workforce reductions.
• Addresses all escalations from managers and employees and ex-employees. Partners with the relevant HR Business Partners, line managers and internal legal teams but is accountable for resolving escalations.
• Demonstrates balanced advocacy for employees and the organization and makes decisions that balance short term vs long term impact on Flex, Malaysia.

Role Summary:
As a Sales Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with key customers and trade organizations, understanding and solidifying purchase agreements, customer alliances and market trends.
