Job Purpose and Scope

The TAVI Product Manager is responsible for setting strategic direction in Japan for the portfolio and for tactical implementation of activities aligned to a patient-centric, customer-centric and goal-achieving culture, leading to optimal clinical adoption, outcomes, and customer satisfaction within the space.

The Japan Product Manager is in charge of product and portfolio marketing activities related to technology and market, planning and execution, and achievement of business objectives for the portfolio under the leadership of the Head of TAVI. The Product Manager is responsible for products throughout their lifecycles including market analysis and opportunity assessments, and marketing plans and activities that optimize competitive differentiation, patient benefit and value. The TAVI Product Manager is responsible for the following related to their portfolio:

• Develop Japan-specific marketing strategies and tactics for new product launches including market analysis, clinical strategy, reimbursement strategy, product positioning and messaging.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Finance Officer will support the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) Botswana Finance & Administration in all financial management, administration and other operational functions of the project. The incumbent will provide support in areas of accounting and record keeping within the project and ensure that all functions under the implementing partners are conducted in an efficient manner and in compliance with USAID and FHI360 policies, procedures, and regulations. The position requires close collaboration with other operations staff within EpiC and the FHI 360 Botswana country office to ensure application of FHI 360 and USAID regulations, policies, and practices. The position will be based in Gaborone, Botswana.

Key Responsibilities:   

•     Complete entry of financial data into accounting system and ensure system remains up to date.

•     Process and track invoices, create payment journals, credit memos, and vendor information for accuracy and completeness.

•     Review payments to ensure documentation and process are in line with FHI360 cost principle requirements.

•     Prepare employee travel advances for local and international requests and reconcile travel expense reports for accuracy and processing of refunds.

•     Review accounting transactions to ensure costs are charged to correct codes before releasing them to the accounting system.

•     Back-up for review of payables aging report to ensure payments are cleared on time.

•     Prepares and maintains monthly VAT returns for review and quarterly submission.

•     Assist with month end closing procedures and reporting.

Project Summary 
The Maximizing Options to Advance Informed Choice for HIV Prevention (MOSAIC) project is a five-year global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to help women prevent HIV by accelerating introduction and scale-up of new and emerging biomedical prevention products. MOSAIC works globally and across multiple countries in sub-Saharan Africa to implement user-centered research and research translation efforts to identify, understand, and remove barriers to new product introduction, access, and use; coordinate and provide technical assistance to global, national, and subnational stakeholders to expedite product launch and scale-up; and strengthen the capacity of a wide range of local partners to perform essential functions that support the introduction of HIV prevention products. 

MOSAIC Approach
MOSAIC’s objective is to ensure that individuals—especially young and adolescent women—can protect themselves from acquiring HIV and other infectious diseases by accelerating introduction and scale-up of new biomedical prevention products and expediting their availability, acceptance, uptake, and impact. To achieve this objective, MOSAIC will work in alignment with the following five priorities:  

•     Ensure a user-centered approach in which the needs and preferences of users—especially adolescent girls and young women—are understood and addressed in product introduction and scale-up  

•     Conduct research to expand the evidence base on how to effectively enhance product availability acceptability  

•     Coordinate and provide technical assistance to global, national, and subnational stakeholders to expedite product introduction in policy and practice by addressing issues related to regulatory review, policy development, resource mobilization, supply chain, delivery models and platforms, and demand creation  

•     Implement research utilization activities and establish mechanisms for rapid, effective knowledge exchange among key stakeholders to ensure existing and emerging evidence on product introduction and scale-up is applied in policy and practice  

•     Strengthen and sustain local partner capacity to advocate for, design, and implement high-quality product introduction activities and research

Job Summary:

The Technical Officer (TO)- MOSAIC will support the MOSAIC project by providing technical leadership, assistance, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality implementation of MOSAIC project activities in Botswana. The position will work closely with the Senior Technical Officer- MOSAIC and MOSAIC team at HQ (USA) to plan, implement, monitor, and report on strategic and technical initiatives and provide guidance around the issues, challenges, and strategies to ensure that project deliverables are met. This position will be based in Gaborone, Botswana.

Technical Officers (Level I – III) provide a range of technical and administrative services at increasing levels of complexity to support project implementation and proposal development. Individuals within these positions are expected to demonstrate an increasing level of proficiency with the specific relevant technical area.

  

Accountabilities:

Technical Requirements:

•    Provides technical direction and guidance in the introduction and scale up of new HIV biomedical prevention products in-country. 

•     Works closely with the Senior Technical Officer to ensure activities are technically sound and implemented according to company strategy and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 

•     Participates in relevant HIV technical working groups (TWGs) and sub-committees, providing support needed to advance rollout of HIV prevention products as determined by the MoH/TWGs. 

•     Supports and provides technical guidance to national policy and implementation plan and curriculum development/updating, serving as secretariat if/as desired by the MoH. 

•     Participates in recurring weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly calls with MOSAIC HQ staff as required to enable technical support to project activities. 

•    Participate in client / funder meetings and draft reports / presentations. 

•     Supports and strengthens the capacity of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to advocate for, design, and implement high-quality product introduction activities

•    Assists in the development and revision of annual work plan documents. 

•     Establishes and maintains partnerships with internal and external stakeholders on project matters. 

•     Ensures project activities are on track with work plans, with technical expertise informing project implementation.  

• Project/Program Reporting: 

•     Support dissemination of HIV prevention product learning resources to facilitate decision-making by national bodies and implementing partners. 

•     Works closely with Senior Technical Officer to provide regular updates to USAID mission and FHI 360 Headquarters, participates in client/funder meetings, and assists in the development of donor reports and presentations.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to Customer Service Manager, this individual will support daily activities relating to order receiving – order entry, invoicing , customer feedback, and working closely with other functions to address and resolves issues.

Also, monitor outsource team performance and support training if required.

In addition, as part of  order entry automation , will play important role of EDI expansion and analysis.

Major Responsibilities

General:

Customer Service

• Own order process, collaborate with outsourcing team, and carry out stable order processing.

• Coordinate with other departments and manage product control, shipping restrictions, backorder support, etc. related to order processing.

• Accepting inquiries regarding orders from customers (Dealers)

• Examining the efficiency of the order process for Capital products

• Work closing with sales and marketing teams, regulatory, global planning, and local supply chain team striving to provide and accurate demand signal

• Proposal and implementation of order processing efficiency improvements in collaboration with other departments

• Support for smooth operation of product phase-out and phase-in

• Drive action on the short UBD, inactive Inventory, phase-in/phase-out, communicating with business partners to minimize the negative cost impact

• Resolve customer’s complaints to customer satisfaction and proactively seek to identify root cause to prevent reoccurrence.

SAP Master and System control

• Maintain Master of supply chain related SAP

• Organizing SAP system requirements(ITDR), making requests, and conducting tests.

• Determine and maintain EDI parameters in  EDI order convert system.

Compliance with audit rules

• Complying with Abbott Policies

• Follow compliance and Medical Device requirements (Regulatory Affair)

• Providing materials and explaining work content during Sox audits and other audits(Including Abbott policy）

Reporting

• Utilize reporting tools (BO, BW, Power BI, Data Mart and SAP)

Continuous Improvement

• Initiate continuous improvement for driving improvement of work quality, efficiency and accuracy in customer service

• Provide trainings to team members to enhance quality of work

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Background:

• 1-5 years of working experience in similar roles

Language:
