POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Candidates should have relevant experience including front-end process design of Basic Engineering Design packages for Petrochemicals technologies primarily associated within a steam cracker complex.
• Should have hands on experience in simulations & optimization tools (Aspen Plus and PRO-II), Heat & Material Balance preparation, Development of PFDs, P&IDs, UFDs, C&E Diagrams, linelist, Tie-in summaries, etc., perform equipment sizing and preparation of process datasheets, process control scheme development, perform hydraulic calculations and report preparation, Exposure to HTRI/HTFS software, preparation of instrument process data sheet/summaries, Relief load calculation and System design, Safety Valve process specification and sizing, Exposure to DPDT Diagrams, PMS, MSDs, etc.
• Work with the CAD team, multiple downstream engineering disciplines and SMEs.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• B.E. Or B. Tech in Chemical Engineering with first class.

• Experience in Operations/Tech Services/FEED/Detailed Engineering design associated with a steam cracker complex is a plus.
• In addition to having good working knowledge to use standard process engineering tools and Simulation software, candidate shall be competent to use IT tools such as MS Office suite, Outlook, MS Teams, and other web meeting tools.

• Performs stress and support engineering related activities for assigned project and activity. Conversant with stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment like Column, tanks, exchangers, pumps/ compressors/ reactors etc.
• Conversant with requirements like trunnion calculation, flange leakage calculations, qualification of allowable nozzle loads etc.
• Provides resolution of technical issues related to stress and support engineering. Prioritization and planning of engineering activities and deliverables.
• Conversant with special support design, Vendor interaction for springs, Expansion joints etc.
• Conduct stress analysis for piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide engineering solutions and support project execution.
• Perform structural analysis of piping components and support structures.
• Review and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and other relevant project documents.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
• Interface with clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
•  Proficient in using industry-standard software for stress analysis (e.g., Caesar II).

This highly visible and fast-paced position is charged with financial reporting, compliance, and processing responsibilities over projects ranging in size from $20 million to $1 billion in contract value.

Responsibilities

This position will report directly to the Project Manager/Project Executive with input from the lead Project Controls Manager in the region.  This individual will be in the middle of the action, working directly on our project sites and closely collaborating with our project team and trade partners.

Project Accounting & Administration 

• Compiling owner requisition 

• Internal audit finding resolution

• Subcontractor requisition and accounts payable processing 

• Consumable materials purchasing and equipment inventory monitoring 

• Management of field payroll

• Assist with project setup, closeout, and owner contract review and readiness

• Lien waiver and insurance administration

• Small Business Tracking and Reporting

Project Finance

• Support monthly project financial forecast 

• Prepare monthly cost reports

• Key performance indicator monitoring 

• Process innovation and improvement

• Project cash-flow monitoring and forecasting 

• Change Order Monitoring & Reconciliation

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting

• Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved

• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors

• Facilitate project meetings to successfully coordinate work activity

• Lead, train, and develop project team members

• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues

• Lead project close-out of project, including turnover of  manuals and warranties and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner, engineering and design firms

• Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project

• Drive a culture of safety on the project site 

• Support the company’s acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations

• Provide leadership to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity

General

• Proactively identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate and win the right work

• Take an active role in recruiting top industry talent to join the Clark team. Identify, hire, and retain outstanding people

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other business-related fields or similar relevant work experience

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Careful attention to detail and reliability of output

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP, Textura, Coupa, or Google platforms a plus
