The Role:



As a Prevention & Enforcement Officer, you will be delivering an efficient and effective prevention and enforcement service
throughout the Borough, to include but not restricted to:



* Issuing Penalty Charge Notices [PCN] within council car parks.
* A partnership approach to anti-social behaviour, gathering evidence for fly tipping, litter enforcement, undertaking
investigations under the relevant dog fouling legislation for dog fouling enforcement and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices [FPN].
* Undertaking investigations into allegations of offences under the Environment Protection Act and Clean Neighbourhood’s and
Environment Act. To include securing evidence through interviewing suspects, issuing FPN, and completing case papers to giving
evidence at Court.
* Undertaking targeted patrols in “hot spot” areas to tackle offences.
* Ensuring that abandoned vehicles are reported, investigation and removed.
* To act as evidence gatherers to support potential action by HBC under the Anti-Social Behaviour and Police Act 2014 in relation
to Community Protection Notices.



A background in enforcement would be an advantage, although not essential. Full training and uniform are provided, as is the
support of a friendly team.



A full UK driving licence and use of own car for business is essential.

A Security Officer patrols, monitors, and observes security procedures to ensure a safe Guest and Member experience while investigating theft and managing instances of undesirable behaviour.

What will I be doing?

As a Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience. A Security Officer will also be required to investigate theft and support evacuation procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Monitor and control staff entrances
• Conduct regular searches of bags, etc. carried by members of staff and report discrepancies or violations immediately
• Control the Goods pass out procedure for any items purchased, loaned, or otherwise legitimately obtained
• Maintain system that monitors contractors working in the hotel in accordance with company health and safety policies
• Responsible for checking goods received out of hours
• Maintain system that records the issue and receipt of departmental keys
• Operate, check and monitor the CCTV system
• Patrol the hotel on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded
• Ensure safe passage of cash transfers within the hotel
• Support evacuation of the hotel during fire alarm situations
• Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures
• Provide secure storage for guest oversized items
• Ensure hotel facilities and function rooms remain secure and locked when not in use
• Maintain the Security Log Book and Incident Reports
• Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage and other incidents
• Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations
• Liaise with Police in the absence of Security Team Leader
• Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
• Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations

What are we looking for?

A Security Officer serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• High school graduate or above
• Good physical condition
• At least two (2) years of law enforcement experience either in a Security Bureau or military training

The Client: Are a well-known High St and Online retailer who are seeking a Senior IT Cyber Security Analyst who specialises in Microsoft / Wintel Servers and Virtualisation supporting a UK wide infrastructure.

Objective: You will Lead 2 x Cyber Security Analysts, giving support to the Head of Cyber Security in delivering the Information Security service to the global business.

You will lead all Cyber Security Operations function and be the first point of contact for technical information security related matters.

Role Responsibilities:

• You will Lead 2 x Cyber Security Analysts, giving support to the Head of Cyber Security
• Act as the first point of action or escalation for the identification of security incidents and their investigation.
• Be responsible for the managed Security Operations Centre (SOC), Network Monitoring and Managed Detection and Response services and associated vendor relationships.

Key Requirements you will need:

• In depth knowledge of Information Security concepts and principles, including cloud security capabilities.
• Experience with configuring and utilising security tooling, including SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, CASB, network scanning, DLP.
• Hands-on IT experience with proven expertise in a previous Information Security role.
• Vendor management experience.
• A relevant intermediate or advanced Information Security based qualification (e.g. CISSP, CySA+, MSc Information Security)
• Ability to critically analyse information and make decisions based on judgement, knowledge, and experience.

Business Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Retail and eCommerce is of great advantage but is not essential.
• Working knowledge of the Information Security elements of Data Protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, The Data Protection Act 2018) is essential.

The Role



We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team on a significant UK construction project as a site-based professional.
This is the Havant Thicket Reservoir Project a large environmental project designed to safeguard water resources for the
Southeast. You will be reporting directly to the Site Agent, Project Manager, and Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role
in supporting the management and delivery of the project.



In this role, you'll work within a flexible organisation where self-motivated and practical problem-solvers excel. You'll have the
opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience through exposure to various matters in a supportive working environment.



Key responsibilities include:



* Upholding high personal safety and environmental standards, ensuring all activities comply with the company's health and safety
and environmental policies and procedures.
* Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications accurately to ensure the precise construction of the works according to
client requirements.
* Conducting and ensuring accurate setting out and surveying of all aspects of the works.
* Providing timely and accurate information to the site Works Management to facilitate the timely construction of the works.
* Developing and implementing inspection and test plans.
* Assisting in planning, measuring, monitoring, and reviewing contract progress throughout the project's lifespan.
* Providing precise measurements for required materials and maintaining material reconciliation figures for reporting purposes.

What we are looking for:



* Degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
* Demonstrable leadership skills, and experience in a similar role is desired.
* Strong computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, LSS surveying packages. Further experience with Civils
3D and other 3D CAD packages is desirable.
* Knowledge of Topcon/Trimble/ Leica machine control/calibrations, including set up/applications is preferred.
* Attention to detail, ensuring maximum accuracy.
* Understanding of surveying and setting out techniques using GPS and Total Stations.
* Good commercial awareness with effective influencing and negotiating skills, as well as an aptitude for developing emerging and
new client relationships.
* Knowledge of current civil engineering legislation, Health & Safety, and Environmental legislation.
* Highly developed professional communication and negotiation skills, including report writing, preparing business management
documents, and presenting information in meetings with clients and other parties.

abstract and concrete variables.

Head of Legal Services (Maternity Cover) (80% FTE)

Bangor University is seeking a solicitor or barrister to join its team as Head of Legal Services to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.

Reporting to the University Secretary, the post holder will play a significant, strategic role in supporting the University’s ambitions and delivery of the Strategic Plan.

Duties will include providing legal advice to the University and its subsidiaries, and when necessary, seeking advice from the University’s external legal advisers, as well as managing a team of contracts and legal compliance specialists.

The successful candidate will be an England and Wales Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 4/5 years post qualification experience. They will have experience of commercial and contract law, preferably in a higher education context, or with transferable skills.

This is a temporary, part time role (0.8FTE) and the ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
