Key Responsibilities:
- Organise sustainability-related capacity building events, workshops, and seminars, including the preparation of marketing materials and handling of logistics (e.g. venue booking catering, liaising with audio visual team, etc.)
- Gather and analyse feedback on the effectiveness of capacity building efforts
- Provide project management support for sustainability-related initiatives, identify potential challenges and suggest solutions to ensure projects are kept on track
- Conduct research and maintain a database on the latest sustainability-related global emerging trends and regulatory developments. Present insights to internal stakeholders
- Conduct research and analysis on companies in relation to their state of sustainability reporting. Present findings to internal stakeholders
- Organise meetings, handle logistics for team events, assist with internal reporting, develop communication materials (e.g. presentation materials, FAQs, speeches, etc.) and ensure proper maintenance of records on internal database
- Support the team on stakeholder engagements with companies, industry associations, international organisations and other partners
- Perform other ad hoc tasks, as required
To succeed in this Associate, Sustainable Development Office (six-month contract) role, you will need to have knowledge in finance and a keen interest in sustainability-related exposure.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge in finance and keen interest in and awareness of global sustainability reporting developments, trends and issues and sustainable finance
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Clear and concise writing skills
- Strong project management and organisation skills
- Diligent and meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
