Job responsibilities:

Accounting:

Plan and direct the accounting activities of the department to ensure timely month-end closing and proper housekeeping and filling of all necessary financial records.

• Manage the accounting staff who are responsible for general accounting, accounts payable, and collections to ensure accurate record keeping and information management.
• Responsible for full accounting functions, preparation of financial reports/ management reports, and other general finance related duties.

Job Description

Reporting to the Country Manager, the Business Development Executive/ Manager will focus on identifying opportunities and developing strategies for campaigns, services, and marketing that aid in acquiring new franchisee contracts to meet company targets. You also support franchisees and improve opportunities for new franchisees to enter the company. To uphold the best interest of the business, you must ensure that franchisees adhere to the company guidelines and present themselves in line with the company’s value system.

1. Acquire New Contracts

• Ensure leads are regularly generated and follow-ups with leads are conducted promptly and effectively.
• Seek out prospective franchise owners and lay the groundwork for completing a contract with a new franchise owner.
• Conduct location surveys with candidates and prepare reports to obtain further approval from management.
• Arrange Franchise Interviews with potential candidates.
• Prepare Franchise contracts, manuals, and other documents needed for new franchisee contract signing.
• Propose and execute ideas and tasks related to franchise expos and roadshows.

2. New Centre Support

• Liaise with the new franchisee on the renovation of the centre. (Prepare floor plan, site visits to check on renovation status, and provide relevant advice to a new franchisee when necessary)
• Liaise with new franchisees on the centre's grand opening date and issues, along with invitations and announcements to the management and relevant departments.
• Liaise with Logistics on Initial Stock release and other necessary materials to be released based on follow-ups with new franchisees.
• Liaise with the vendor to provide promotional materials (A2 subject posters, pull-up banners, all-in-one brochures, etc) to the new centre.

3. Operation Support

• Support and provide training on Centre operations to Centre Managers.
• Monitor progress of centre performance using various metrics and submit reports of performance monthly to ensure centres are meeting KPIS.
• Always ready for ad hoc assignments/ projects of the organisation.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related Business field. Diploma holders with working experience may also apply.
