Business Development Director, Travel Partnerships
The Business Development Director, Travel Partnerships is responsible for developing the regional strategy and deal pipeline - and prospecting, signing, and launching new partnerships. This role requires you to be tenacious, creative, collaborative, and eager to tackle long-term challenges.
The partnerships are long term, high value and complex – so whilst you are motivated by targets, at heart you are a relationship builder and problem solver. You will need the ability to build and cultivate relationships with partners across all levels and functions of their organisation; quickly assess the commercial potential of each opportunity; and lead all facets of structuring, negotiating, and closing partnerships. Internally, your success will depend on your ability to develop and leverage strong cross functional partnerships – a highly collaborative approach is a must!

As an Apprentice at Expedia Group, your primary responsibility is to develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of relevant, attractive, and competitive hotel and property products for Expedia Group’s fast-growing global traveller base. This role works with lodging partners within their assigned territory to help increase the total number of potential customers in this market. The Market Management team ensures that global travellers always find the most suitable property for their dream trip, and that hotel partners can access Expedia Group’s full breadth of global traveller demand.
The apprenticeship program runs over 12 months, where you’ll be following a program curated for you, participate in on-the-job learning in one of our Market Management teams, with full support and coaching as an Apprentice Associate Market Manager during your time at Expedia Group. The program also offers Apprentices a unique opportunity to engage with our lodging partner as an Apprentice – Commercial Operations for a given duration. This experience is designed to help the Apprentice understand partner needs and product offerings.
Our Hybrid Work Policy means that the expectation is you spend at least 50% of your time in the office.
