About the role

The Safety, Health and Environment Manager manages and coordinates all safety, health and environment programs, processes and activities in order to maintain a compliant and safe work environment. This role drives excellence in safety, health and environment across the site to achieve best safety and sustainability results. The SHE Manager will develop the local strategy to deliver legal compliance and ensure execution of BC Standards. This role will assure the implementation of programs to drive reduction of safety incidents and environmental harmful impact. The SHE Manager leads and manages SHE related incidents on site. This role provides guidance and support on relevant SHE matters. The SHE Manager is a member of the Plant Management Team.

Key responsibilities include

• Designs, maintains and leads the implementation of the local health, safety, security and environmental management systems
• Leads SHE incident management and drives management of relevant programs and actions relating to documented risks and or incident follow up
• Conducts SHE meetings, audits and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action and implement follow up assessments.
• Provides site employees, contractors and visitors with guidance on health, safety and security matters and ensures site is compliant with Barry Callebaut, industry, local and national guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for site SHE incident notification, investigation and case management.
• Integrating occupational health and safety imperatives with business decision-making and risk management
• Advising on engineering and maintenance practices to drive improvement of safe systems of working
• Drive positive SHE culture through but not limited to: embedding the 10 BC Life Saving Principles, Gemba safety talks and training and putting Safety first demonstrated by consistent management behaviors
• Ensure SHE compliance is regularly audited, performance and risks are assessed and use the results to drive further improvement
• Ensure local SHE and facilities (eg Petroleum and Flammable Material Storage License etc) licenses as well as certifications remain valid with local authorities.
• Responsible for monitoring and measurement of SHE variables - SHE Scorecard

About you

• Degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent industrial experience
• Registered with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer and SCDF as Fire Safety Manager
• Good knowledge of Singapore laws, regulation and codes of practice
• Project Management skills
• Internal auditor or ISO auditor qualification a plus
• Experience of Lean/TPM tools and ways of working a plus
• Understand the requirements of relevant standard such as ISO 14001; ISO 45001 or OSHSAS 18001
• 5 to 10 years experience in a factory-based role: Safety, Health or Environment role, Operations, Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement or Quality
• Experience with SHE management systems and risk management
• Experience with influencing behavioral change in a team/department

About the role

As part of Engineering team and reporting to Engineering Manager, this role will handle the maintenance plant facilities equipment such as Chillers, Boilers, Air compressors, ACMV, Building & Grounds, Utilities, Lift, Water System (Process/Domestic), Cooling Towers and Substation. Acting as an Energy champion, this role will provide ideas and actions to reduce energy, water, gas consumption and CO2 emission. Provide support on maintenance operations (Budget, CAPEX, Preventive maintenance) and control spare parts warehouse.

Key responsibilities include

• Oversee the Maintenance operations and requirements for facilities installations; Chillers, Boilers, Air Compressors, ACMV, Building & Grounds, Utilities, Lift, Water system (Process / Domestic), Cooling Towers, and Substation. Evaluation of the detailed scope and frequency of maintenance required thereafter update the job plan; sequence; master schedule planning of maintenance schedule in the Computerized Maintenance & Management system (Maximo).
• To update and maintain documentation of the facilities, utilities installations’ user manual; single lines and drawings. Periodically back up of schematic drawings and data.
• Identify critical spares required; procure and ensure adequate spares are available for replacement. Targeting reducing the impact of downtime.
• Raise Works Orders/Purchase requisition, keep track and monitoring of the available spare inventories as well as the progress of PM/EM/CM Work in the Maximo system.
• Participate in monitoring and controlling of maintenance budget expenditure.
• Acting as Energy Champion reducing energy/gas, water consumption and CO2 emission.

About you

• ITE / Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering preferable in a technical field (Food industrial, M&E construction or Manufacturing sector)
• The Energy Champion diploma (NEA) is an added advantage
• The ability to use AutoCAD is an added advantage
• A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience. Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC. Strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff support and team building.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering, knowledge in Preventive maintenance programming for facilities in a manufacturing environment; preferably with food manufacturing experience.
• Good technical knowledge in M&E systems; troubleshooting experience in Chillers, Boilers, Air compressors, ACMV, facilities, and utilities. Experience in management of vendors/contractors for installation/ servicing works.

To be successful, the pre-requisites for this role include:

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Operations, Engineering or similar

• Knowledgeable in SAP, Google Suite and MS Office Suite
• Proficient in written and spoken English. Proficiency in another Asian language will be advantageous.

This role will be the owner of the regional pricing process, leveraging on tools to support business decisions through management of data quality and insightful analysis. This role will also serve as a valuable channel to bridge strategies from Pricing, Finance, Regional and Global Cocoa teams so as to maximize the value that the cocoa business brings in for the company.

Ideally, this role shall continuously engage key stakeholders to drive improvements in business processes, encourage openness to change and facilitate risk management. This role needs to also drive the transition process from off system to system based quoting and contracting with the full-fledged pricing logic set up.

Key responsibilities:

• ensure availability of a functioning and updated pricing model for offer generation, price discussions and compliance tracking. Jointly define the appropriate pricing strategy and support performance assessment of strategy through reporting and analysis
• consolidate and improve understanding of cost elements to drive transparency and data quality in pricing approach
• communicate requirements to develop and enhance price level calculations in the system, essential for reporting and compliance tracking

As part of HR team, this role be responsible for Human Resources administration and support in benefits, compensation, recruitment, HR system & data maintenance and general employee services activities for Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities:

• Co-ordinates recruitment activities so that recruitment process is efficient, effective and has equitable support.
• Take ownership of new hire pre-employment administration as well as enrolment into HR systems (leave, biometrics etc), pre-employment medical check-ups arrangements, statutory training and insurance/benefits programs, personnel files maintenance, orientation arrangements etc.
• Updates and maintain blue-collar employees data in SuccessFactors.
• Work pass administrator to ensure that work permits, S Pass and employment passes are applied, renewed and cancelled on a timely basis.
• Handles exit administration including salary related admin, starting with the confirmation of the written notice – follow-up until the exit of employee in alignment with Country HR Lead and Site HR.
• Provide support in administrational tasks and follow-up of insurance matters, leave system maintenance on maternity leave, marriage, child care leave, ensure data accuracies for annual year-end leave brought forward entitlements etc .
• Checks time & attendance system on a regular basis to ensure that employees clocks in / out and follow up with Supervisors if there are missing punches or discrepancies.
• Timely follow-up on employee requests and cases submitted, escalate if necessary.
• Update and ensure quality of employee data for the statutory surveys and company’s reporting needs.

Key pre-requisites:

About the role

This role is to handle the following key responsibilities mentioned to cover the areas within the scope of the supply chain function with emphasis & focus on materials planning activities/scope.

Key responsibilities include

Work with Planning Manager to effectively coordinate with internal and external parties eg. Production, QA, Purchasing and Logistics teams on improvements for FG/RM inventory/replenishment planning.

The Material Planner will focus on the following:

• Effectively manage and coordinate with internal and external parties eg. Production, QA, Purchasing and warehouse on Inventory and packaging materials replenishment planning.
• Execute and monitor phase-in & phase-out of old and new packaging materials & externally printed labels.
• Closely monitor production plan conformance and output.
• Feedback concerns on production progress and closely work with Supervisor and other stakeholders on their concerns with the plan.
• Closely monitor liquid delivery production and shipment plan to ensure order fulfillment.
• Constantly monitor inventory and feedback concerns on inventory level and any out-of-stock situations.
• Work closely with respective suppliers on the call-off plan of packaging materials and coordinate with relevant stakeholders (BC internal & suppliers) on supply issues and complaints on product supplied.
• Manage customer supply allocations in situations where materials are in scarce/tight supply.
• Close liaison with Planning Manager in coordinating packaging materials required for SOC management & for interface into the SAP system for future planning via SAP system integration & roll-out.
• Interacts with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Production, and Customer Service.
• Complete status reports for production progress, work in process and follow up as required with all teams to expedite the flow of materials to meet the production schedule.
• Ensure the mass balance of certified raw materials is correctly and promptly updated in the bookkeeping.
• Oversee & coordinate system roll-out to enable packaging materials planning via the SAP system.
• Manage packaging material inventory to ensure it meets the stated inventory holding level
• Any other duties & responsibilities to be assigned from time to time relating to planning scope/function.

Stakeholder Management

Internal stakeholders:

• Production – Packaging planning, repacking and liquid delivery schedule. Interacts with Production Scheduler and Supervisors on reviewing daily production status, highlighting implications.
• QA – Discuss & liaise relating to a quality matter that arises which impact shipments inbound & outbound
• Warehouse & Shipping (Logistics) – Coordinate with warehouse & shipping on shipment-related planning, deployment of shipment & storage-related activities.
• Purchasing – Replenishment ordering; Interacts with Purchasing on the positioning of packaging materials.
  

External stakeholders:

• Suppliers - Coordinate & liaison on all inbound & call-off deliveries; Provide the delivery forecast for specific suppliers.
• Intervene with suppliers & contractors on any escalated issues & concerns impacting order fulfillment

About you

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent, CPIM or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Diploma for those with at least 5 years of relevant planning & project management/coordination-related experience
• English communication skill
• Chinese communication skill is a plus
• Experience in production & materials planning in a manufacturing environment
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in demand and supply management especially in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage
• Inventory control and MRP exposure
• Exposure to SAP and S&OP process
• Hands-on Excel, word and PowerPoint knowledge
• Demand forecasting and capacity optimization
