The Global Commodity Director of Procurement Construction - Real Estate Operation (REO) is a dynamic and results-driven leader who will direct, develop, and implement the necessary functional and process competencies to plan, source, purchase and deliver world-class product. Position Description: Reporting to the Facility & Construction Sr. Director of Global Indirect Materials this person will lead and execute Strategic sourcing Projects, Complex Procurement Programs, and vendor management activities for assigned Facility and Construction categories and projects of low to high complexity scopes.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the business owner for his or her Facility categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business entities. This entails owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the Facility category and construction industry, along with responsibility for driving strategic projects to achieve business objectives.
• Build and maintain (partnering) effective working relationship with assigned stakeholders.
• Ability to review and analyze data to determine sourcing opportunities based on best practice methodologies.
• Develop short-term/long-term category planning for both facility and construction, implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories following a standard strategic sourcing methodology.

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop requirements and strategy to identify suppliers, establish SLA/KPI requirements. Measure supplier performance against contract SLAs and expectations and initiate corrective actions in the event of missed expectations to resolve any performance issues.
• Drive Supplier Review Meetings with key suppliers and senior level Align stakeholders and provide input on performance and future needs/strategic planning.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal customers / clients as well as vendors.
• Ability to excel under pressure while dealing with changing priorities and timelines.
• Manage compliance to contracts.
• Support savings tracking processes and participates in special projects as needed.

JOB PURPOSE:

As the Head of Asia Pacific Distribution Centre (APDC), this position is a key member of the Asia Operations leadership team who plays a critical role in important strategic and management decisions relating to APDC operations. The Role: Director of Aviation
As the Director of Aviation, you'll take the helm of our industry-leading flight department. Operating a Challenger 650 and 605 aircraft, our flight schedule comprises 75% domestic flying and 25% international destinations. • Oversight of Aviation Assets: Manage all owned, leased, and chartered aircraft, ensuring their optimal use and maintenance.

• Strategic Direction: Stay abreast of aviation trends and technological advancements, shaping the department's strategic direction.

• Resource Management: Direct aircraft scheduling, crew management, and negotiate cost-effective contracts for fuel, hangar leases, and equipment purchases.

• Administrative Oversight: Liaise with executive staff and their assistants regarding flight schedules, passenger handling, and deviations due to weather or mechanical issues.

• Financial Stewardship: Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, maintaining compliance documentation for regulatory bodies.

• Training and Development: Direct departmental training activities, exceeding FAA regulations to ensure high standards of expertise.

• Facility Compliance: Oversee facility management to ensure adherence to airport, OSHA, and EPA guidelines.

• Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and administer operating policies and procedures for the flight department.

• Representation: Act as the face of our flight department in industry forums and groups, championing our commitment to excellence.

• Regular attendance is required.

• Director may fly as a part time pilot.

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certification with multi-engine landing rating, First Class Medical Certification, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Radio License, and valid passport.

• 6,000 hours total flight time with 5,000 hours as a Pilot in Command with at least 1,000 multi-engine jet PIC

• Prior experience as a Chief Pilot/Corporate Jet Captain flying domestically and internationally.

• Must be able to pass FAA Class I physical examination.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation/business discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Ten plus years of experience in managing aviation services including providing strategic plans that align with corporate objectives, operation, and maintenance plans, developing and managing a department and capital budgets (including the procurement and maintenance of aircraft), and overseeing the monitoring of all departmental financial and operational metrics to ensure that they are on track.

• Experience in monitoring the status of crew members’ qualifications, flight standards, and ensures that all flight operations, records, and filings are in accordance with applicable FAA and ICAO standards.
