Our client's Singapore Team and become a key player in the world of financial data to our client. We are looking for a Financial Data Quality Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and accuracy, particularly in the realm of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and major Indices.

In this role, you will work closely with clients and vendors to streamline data normalization, handle corporate events, and enhance the client experience. If you're passionate about financial markets and have the skills to dive into data with an analytical mindset, we want to hear from you.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enhance the quality of captured data for regional Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and major Indices to optimize client experience.
• Analyze corporate actions (CAs) and ensure the accurate application of relevant data to ETFs and Indices for client consumption.
• Provide real-time support for over 700 Portfolio Composition Files (PCFs) of ETFs, ensuring timely delivery before the European market opens.
• Conduct thorough data quality checks across client-facing platforms, performing sanity and validation checks.
• Address and troubleshoot client queries related to PCFs and major index-related issues, utilizing in-depth knowledge of workflows and calculations.
• Collaborate with the team or work independently to propose enhancements to data normalization and aggregation processes, continuously improving the quality of data delivered to clients.
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit by problem-solving, setting up, and streamlining internal operational processes using VBA, Python, and SQL.

Skills Need as

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution, with preference given to degrees in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering.
• Fresh graduates to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Broad understanding and keen interest in financial markets and reference data, with specific knowledge and interest in ETFs and Indices.
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, agile critical thinking, and a problem-solving demeanor, with acute attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is a MUST ; proficiency in VBA, Python, and SQL is advantageous.
• Proactiveness, a strong willingness to learn, and excellent time management skills.
