Job Description for GL position:
- Complete monthly balance sheet items’ schedules & identify for the outstanding, send to the related parties to update/adjust the outstanding.
- Raise tax invoice related company for those non-trade expenses paid on behalf, do the monthly non-trade interco recon to identify any item yet captured by either both parties.
- Raise tax invoice for airline incentive received / hotel commission / follow up payment from airline. -ensure there are original documents for those fixed assets purchase and do filling.
- Prepare monthly journal entry prepayment-other charge out, accrual expenses, fixed assets depreciation, payroll entry, reclass entry etc.
- Do monthy posting of all journal entry , process close of month end period.
- Process bank guarantee renewal & change of bank signatory - AR daily petty cash
- Work out accounting entry for AP to capture like management fee, hospitalization renewal, office insurance renewal, audit fee payment, tax fee payment etc
- Do tax computation every quarter and yearly.
- Issuing of Payment voucher
- Monitoring on Collection
- Bank reconciliation
- Any adhoc task assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting / Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Finance / Accountancy or Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experiences in Finance or Accountancy.
- Positive and result driven.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer skills especially in Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
- Time management and able to meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong analytical, financial, and reporting skills.
- Having a right attitude, high level of integrity and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently, multi-tasking and have self-initiative when necessary.
