Summary of Role
The Executive / Senior Executive role will see you assist in creating innovative, impactful communications plans that help drive and position Cradle’s leadership through relevant communication campaigns and initiatives. You will collaborate internally with other departments and units; and also externally with appointed creative agencies in creating and supporting communications initiatives that further enhance Cradle.
Contributing to the development, coordination and implementation of Cradle’s communications output and strategy, the role will also require you to interact with statutory / governing bodies i.e. MOSTI, MOF, relevant Ministries.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Support the Strategic Communications team in developing and delivering a proactive communication plans to raise Cradle’s profile
- Assist in preparing responses to issues, queries and the preparation of key messages
- Assist in monitoring the content of promotional printed matters (such as brochures, pamphlets, flyers, calendars, one-off publications), promotional collateral items, business related promotional / instructional videos and websites.
- Assist in the overall content development (e.g. communication documents - press releases, newsletters, etc)
- Support rapport building with the media and stakeholders ie MOSTI, MOF, relevant Ministries, start-ups, partners etc. Build and maintain relationships with journalists and key editors.
- Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensuring that we produce a high-quality and error-free copy.
- Collaborate with other internal functions to advise and support on programmes that help manage reputation and support the delivery of the end goal
- Assist in arranging and coordinating press conferences, and also in the planning of events where and when necessary.
- Performing and undertaking any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the superior/management from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years or more working experience within the Communications sphere, working experience in the media industry will be an advantage
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications / Communications / PR / Journalism from a reputable university
