Field Service Support Engineer (Vision)

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

• Responsible for on-site system setup and testing for machine vision systems
  particularly automated optical inspection (AOI) system.
• Responsible for mechanical fine-tuning and adjustment on customer site
• Collect and compile data for machine buyoff.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to customers.
• Provide training to customers.
• Integrate and configure machine vision related hardware such as lighting, controller,camera, lenses and optics.
• Perform sample evaluation to study machine vision/system integration feasibility.
• Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure tasks and action items are well follow up on-site.
• Perform daily reporting through email to customers and respective teams on your daily activities.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate in Engineering (preferably Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge in machine vision/image processing/AOI is required. 
• Knowledge in C# programming and motion control is an added advantage.
• Preferably 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Responsible, able to work independently, initiative, and good interpersonal skill.
• Must have discipline and strong time management skill.
• Able to travel locally/oversea.
• Ability to multi-task activities with priority planning.
• Must have basic experience with vision and AOI systems.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting on equipment is preferred.
