Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement requirements to meet company targets of cost and delivery performance.
- Responsible for material sourcing, planning & purchasing in order to meet customer order with the best lead time and lowest cost.
- Review and replenish indirect materials and chemical stock levels to support production.
- Arrange and follow-up with local and overseas vendors on daily requirements and delivery to maintain optimum inventories carrying cost.
- Source for local and overseas suppliers for new and current projects.
Experience in sourcing of components. - To practice cost reduction on the purchased items.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Degree holder in Economics/ Business Administration or its equivalent.
- Knowledge of supplier chain risk management.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers and vendors to get the best deal for the company on all items purchased.
